I asked for 5w20 the sticker said 0w20. My car takes both I wanted 5w. He questioned me 3 times. They overfilled the oil, which I mentioned. No receipt, no tire pressure check, no oil light reset. I've normally gone out of my way to come here but idk now.
- CHChris HunterDec 31, 20253.0The staff did not preform a majority of the maintenance checks they claim that did on the receipt. My 2016 Honda Odyssey does not have a sealed transmission. I informed the employee that it is both sealed. In fact I had the transmission flushed at another Valvoline in Florida last year. My tire pressure and brake fluid were not checked. The oil service light was not reset or asked about. I did not see them run a voltage check. They forgot to give me a printed receipt, I had to ask again. The staff seemed more immersed in talking about the video games they recently bought instead of talking to the customers in the bay. I've had much better service at other Valvoline locations. Probably not going to this location again.
- AMAthena MontgomeryDec 29, 20252.0“15-minute instant oil change” is a joke. I arrived at 12:20 PM, didn’t get serviced until about 1:20, and didn’t leave until close to 1:45 PM. That’s over an hour wasted for something that’s supposed to be quick. There was a training employee, and to be clear he was very nice and doing his best. This is NOT on him. What is ridiculous is that he was left alone to do everything while the other bays had at least 2 employees working together. That’s poor management, plain and simple. If you know a trainee is going to slow things down, either offer proper support or tell customers upfront that they’ll be waiting over an hour. Don’t sell “instant” service when it clearly isn’t. Completely inefficient and extremely frustrating.
- TMt. martinDec 27, 20251.0I visited this location in late November for an oil change, but after being "upsold" I purchased a transmission fluid change, also. *At no point was I informed of any leaks.* When I asked for my receipt I was told it would be emailed; that file couldn't be opened. Approx a week or so after service I noticed fresh fluid on my driveway. When my oil guage reading started to dip I returned to the Sugar Land location. One of the techs felt the leak was transmission fluid. The other techs kept emphasizing they previously did an EVAC fluid change, which still doesn't change the fact that I had no leaks on my driveway before the service was performed. I asked to speak w/ a member of management, but it was explained neither was on site.
