    BUYER BEWARE❗️DO NOT PURCHASE 2019 Nissan Altima refurbished alternator from either Autozone in San Marcus The manager on duty at this location along with a man, I think his name started with an O. We're incredibly rude. I came in at 1:30pm on 2-4-2026. I was told several times I could not return a defective part I purchased from them. I had to get the auto shop that put the part in my car on speaker for them to start listening to me. The auto shop sent over proof that the part was in fact defective. The entire time I was treated less than human. They wouldn't even look at me. They were just talking to each other right in front of me about me. I said the answer several times to the question they were asking one another & they still blatantly ignored me like I wasn't even there. This is honestly the poorest customer service I've ever experienced in my life. I have never been spoken about while standing directly in front of the person arms link away like I wasn't even they're at all. Totally disregarded like I wasn't speaking. This was done intentional on both men's part. Eventually they did return the defective part, which was the second one that had to be brought back to the store. While they were testing the part to see if it in fact was defective, they were all moking me and the situation. They were so loud the whole store could hear. These employees at the store need training in customer service. Not only did they talk aloud right in front of me about me. They also blatantly wouldn't even speak to me or answer my questions while I was standing directly in front of them or evening knowledge, the fact that I was in front of them. The manager on duty had a long beard looked to be white/ hispanic heritage I was unable to get his name. The other man's name that started with an O was of hispanic heritage.

    My daughter is in college and had a dead battery this morning. The door opened for this store, 3 minutes early. She goes in and speaks to the associates about her warranty as she purchased the battery last year. The Latino male was understanding and helpful but the Aryan male had an attitude. They told her that her information was not in the system. She called the Schertz location where she bought the battery last year. It was in the system and every AutoZone has access. I know because I worked there 10+ years ago. She travelled to Kyle and received the help she should’ve received at this location. I called and spoke to Eddy (said he was manager) only to be hung up on as he stated he was going to talk with the associates to get their stories. San Marcos and New Braunfels have frequent and repeated complaints of employees refusing to serve or assist minorities and this morning this store stayed true to it.
