- SRStacey RossApr 1, 20261.0On March 26, 2026 at 8:00 AM, I stopped to fill up my SUV as I always do — QuikTrip has been my exclusive gas station for years. That changed today. The pump failed to automatically shut off when my tank was full and sprayed gasoline in all directions. I pulled the nozzle out, but the gas kept flowing at high pressure with the lever stuck open. I had to force it shut manually with my left hand. By the time it stopped, there was so much gas on the ground that it had traveled completely under my SUV to the other side. It soaked through my jeans, into my leather sandals, and onto my skin while I stood there in shock. Not one employee came outside to help. I tried to save my jeans and sandals — four wash cycles later, they still reeked of gasoline and had to be thrown away. I submitted an online complaint. No response. I called and was told someone would follow up. It has been a week. Still nothing. This was a serious safety hazard. The complete silence from QuikTrip after the fact is what sealed it for me. I will not be returning.

I won 40 on another ticket and he cashed the lesser amount in. He is a horrible manager. I called and complained to Texas lottery why sale the tickets if you can’t afford to pay out a 140.
