  i wanted to get my transmission fluid swapped out along with my oil changed, and they refused due to "corporate policy". They then had the audacity to try upsell me with an offer to flush my coolant system. i checked the website, and it says they offer a transmission fluid change! Fine, I'll change my oil and my transmission fluid myself. it's not that hard.

  Was told 20 min wait. Was over an hour. With one car waiting in front of me. Had to ask 3 times for oil change light to be shut off. Didn’t have my oil filter in stock so went and acquired one from somewhere. Taking longer. 2 hours from wait to finish. Was told afterwards that I should have selected different oil. And suggested 3000 mile change when dealership just told me 8000 mile change. Never going here again

  Great service and staff! Fast, professional, not pushy, polite, and knowledgeable. My boyfriend and I are visiting from San Diego, and by the time we arrived in San Antonio, our Jeep was due for an oil change and tire rotation. We always use Valvoline back home, so we decided to stop by the Valvoline here — and we’re glad we did! It was great to see the same level of attention to detail and quality of both service and staff here in San Antonio as we’ve come to expect from our San Diego location. Highly recommend! Services we got today included: the complementary maintenance checks, tire rotation (to include the full sized spare), complete fuel system treatment, air filter replacement, full synthetic oil change, and oil filter change.

  The only thing that was done right was the oil change, the rest of the experience was ridiculously awful. For starters for my 2019 Nissan Senata 1.8 L 4 cylinder engine the total was ~$110 and the last time I had it done it was only $71 (not at Valvoline). I raised this concern to the manager and called customer service on it, they said you have to have a coupon to get for $90, still overpriced. The fun does not stop their, the guy that was servicing me was extremely disrespectful and did not listen or care about everything I was asking them to do. For example, I asked them if they could shut my fuel door (I accidentally opened that instead of the hood), asked for paper receipt, asked not to go over services that I felt was completely unnecessary and annoying, and asked for reminder sticker. The response was as followed the was shut but I had to remind the guy several times and when he finally shut it, he slammed it shut. For the paper receipt the guy got the wrong persons receipt and when I told the guy about it he proceeded to tear it up and thow it in my car at me told me to leave "your done sir have a nice day", how very unprofessional. When I was their I explicitly ask them not to talk about any unnecessary service but they did anyways and were very annoying about it. Because the guy rudely pushed me out the door, he did not give me my reminder sticker, for my windshield. The guy that serviced me was named Diesel, at according this hos shirt name badge. I will never ever go back to any Valvoline again for any type of service because no deserve treatment like that anytime or anyday.
