This location is truly amazing, they go above and beyond. You can really tell they care about their customers. Davina, the manager, is awesome! She’s so friendly and welcoming & she really knows her stuff. I highly recommend this location over any other place, they took great care of me and my vehicle! It’s running so smoothly and I will be happily returning to this location & recommending it to my friends and family. Thank you guys so much for your great customer service and care for me & my vehicle!
Simple oil change today. Hour later, engine making awful knocking noise, engine starts steaming , car stalls out, won’t start again. Called, no answer. Called customer service and they were able to have someone call me back. Manager spoke with me, said he would call me back and have someone come out to me where my truck is broken down. No callback. Called customer service twice and again they reached out to this location no one picked up both times. Still almost 4 hours later manager of that same location still has not reached out to me to make sure everything‘s OK. To say that this is absolutely crap customer service is an understatement. I highly recommend not going to this location. Looking forward to someone reaching out to me soon so I can take action against this deplorable display of care and urgency.
This was my first visit to a Valvoline in many years, and it was excellent. The gentlemen who helped me were very nice and thorough with checking all the things. And because I got to stay in my car, I got to watch everything! As a woman, there’s always a little part of me that distrusts mechanics and such, so being able to watch everything calmed that part of me. They also checked all of my lights and topped off all the fluids, which I wasn’t expecting but I appreciate very much. All around a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back!

I have always trusted Valvoline and regularly go there for my oil changes. Unfortunately, my most recent experience at the location near my home was extremely disappointing and costly.
I went in for a simple oil change. Afterward, they tested my battery and told me it needed to be replaced for $203. Before agreeing, I researched my previous battery purchase on my phone and realized it was still under warranty (less than three years old). If I hadn’t checked myself, they were prepared to charge me for a battery that was still covered.
After they replaced the battery, my car immediately started having electrical issues. It would not recognize my key, the key reader stopped working properly, and the engine light came on. I stayed there for over an hour and a half while they tried to figure out the problem. When I finally left, my car would not accelerate properly.
We had no choice but to take the vehicle to the dealership, where we had to spend additional money. The dealership informed us that Valvoline had installed the wrong battery and that it was not the correct fit for my vehicle. We had to purchase another battery through the dealership and rent a car while everything was being resolved.
In total, I paid $275 at Valvoline, plus additional dealership and rental car expenses — all because the wrong battery was installed.
When we returned to request reimbursement for the extra costs caused by their mistake, the manager, Davina, told us she was an honest person and that she would help us. Unfortunately, no help was provided, and they refused to refund or reimburse us.
It is extremely disappointing that a multi-million (if not billion) dollar company would refuse to make things right for a customer over an amount under $1,000 — especially when the issue resulted directly from their service.
Because of this experience, we will be escalating this matter to corporate and, if necessary, filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
This location has lost our business. I would strongly caution anyone to think twice before allowing them to perform anything beyond a basic oil change.

I decided to try your new location located at 875 N. Hunt Ln in San Antonio, TX today. I've had bad experiences at another competitor's location. They didn't put enough oil in my vehicle which caused the engine to turn off (safety measure from the computer I guess) leaving me stranded. It was 3 quarts low.
When I arrived I was greated and directed to pull in bay #1. The manager Davina helped gather my information to put in the computer since it was my first visit. Thinks went quickly from there. Antonio performed the topside service while Jonas took care of the bottomside. They even knew my car took the European oil which has never been discussed at the competitor's. My oil was filled up and Davina came to check everything once completed and showed me the dipstick which showed full!!
All around a great experiance. I'll be going back next time to my new preferred oil change place.
