    This was my first time using SIXT and not only was I impressed with the choice of vehicles and prices…the customer service was Amazing. After a long day of flying and delays I arrived at my destination and went to the rental desk after checking in prior to my arrival to speed up the process. To my annoyance, the couple there waiting said the attendant went to get their rental and would be right back…my annoyance grew. Then Jonathan (San Antonio Airport) showed up apologized for my wait, asked about my day and then offered me a nice and cold bottle of water. That made my day!! Thank You Jonathan for helping this annoyed traveler to relax with your kindness!

    Nancy at the counter was incredibly kind and helpful! I booked online via a third party site and she helped me with an upgrade and even shared some travel tips. After I checked in with her, picking up my key and the car was super easy. We’ll definitely book with Sixt again!

    My experience with National Car Rental was extremely negative and deserves to be publicly and clearly documented. I made a reservation to pick up a vehicle at San Antonio International Airport and, specifically to avoid issues during the early morning hours, I paid an additional amount to change the pickup time, ensuring the vehicle would be available at the newly confirmed time. This change was accepted, processed, and charged, creating a legitimate expectation that the service would be provided as agreed. However, when I arrived at the airport at the confirmed pickup time, after a long and exhausting trip traveling with my family, I found the rental counter completely closed, with a sign stating that it would only open several hours later. There was no prior notice, no transparency, and no clear communication during the time change process indicating that pickup would be impossible at that hour. To make the situation even more serious, I was not the only affected customer. There were several other people in the exact same situation, all with active reservations, equally unable to pick up their vehicles and waiting for the counter to open. This clearly demonstrates that this was not an isolated incident, but a recurring issue impacting multiple customers. The result was a group of exhausted travelers, many with families, forced to wait for hours during the night without a vehicle, without proper assistance, and without any immediate solution. All of this occurred after customers had paid for a service that, in practice, did not exist at that location and time. Regardless of internal policies, accepting payment for a service that cannot be delivered represents a serious failure in service and a complete lack of respect for the customer. The minimum expected is transparency, accountability, and correction of the error. This record also serves as a public warning: a confirmed and paid pickup time does not guarantee that the service will be honored by the company.

    I am incredibly pleased with professionalism and efficiency of SIXT Car Rental. I opted for a luxury rental and was able to check in 1 hour prior to choose my vehicle. To my surprise, they had a BMW 330 M-Sport which was perfect as it has very similar amenities to my M3. Upon arrival, I was greeted, given the key and was on the road within 5 minutes. The rental was a brand new vehicle only having 11 miles on it which was absolutely impressive. The rental return was very fast as the vehicle was checked in and was out in less than 5 minutes. I will continue to keep my business exclusive to SIXT!
