    The experience of renting with them has been just horrible. 1 month later and still havent been refunded my security deposit. Ive called in multiple times to request follow up and a call backs and havent gotten anything. They tell me I need to call my bank when I do my bank says nothing has been released. I requested a supervisor my after my second call as the person I spoke with told me I am not understanding him and the fund were only held and not taken from my account. In my hand on the phone with him I have a bill showing the charges. I suggest saving your time and hassle and dealing with any other rental company. First experience travel and renting and gotta say it can only go up hill from here.

    Falsification of damages DO NOT RENT from this company. They sent my information to a collection company without a call or letter and have the wrong car!!! - this is insane. Here’s the really crazy thing I always add additional insurance no matter what even if I drive a snowmobile, so that would have taken care of anything, IF someone or something happened Here’s what adds insult to injury-the collection company won’t let me talk to a supervisor -I can request a call back via email. This rental company will fail, you cannot treat people unjustly and get away with unethical business practices. It will catch up to you SIXT- I never turned in a car with any damages This is a big scam…. Run as fast as you can from this company. RUN!!!!! Update to your response below… I don’t have any information, when I called the collection agency they told me I’d receive information in 3 days… I will be posting when I do receive. This is a pass the buck business you send me off to collections then tell me to show YOU the damage that I’ve never seen, Teressa pick up the phone and call SIXT collection company. I bet you’d be furious if someone treated you or your family members with such discord. More disappointing you respond to Google reviews to pacify people that read this review. **I’ve called your office and no one could help me, or confirm anything. Sent me to the collection company-Very frustrating.

    SIXT was amazing! I was unable to locate my reservation for a car rental, even forgot the name of the car rental! Hubbs and I started with SIXT (shortest line), they told us we did not book with them but they have a couple of Tundra's available, for 75 a day. We told the agent our rental was 40 a day and she matched it 🥰 We were so greatful for that, because looking at the other rental lines, it looked like an hour in line with hopes of them having a vehicle! The agent, Nancy, was efficient, got us squared away in under 10 minutes! Her professionalism was top notch, no issues with our vehicle. The guys in the garage were also efficient, making sure all renters were satisfied with their vehicles. Returning the rental was just as easy. By the time we parked, there was an agent at our door, ready to inspect... all this took under 5 minutes. We will be renting from this company again!

    DO NOT RENT FROM SIXT, they rent out unsafe/damaged vehicles, don’t care about their consumers, and run you around in circles to give your problem to the next person. We rented an SUV from Sixt at the San Antonio International Airport on Wednesday 11/26 to drive our family to Dallas for Thanksgiving. We inspected the vehicle, documented any little dents or dings, but did not feel the need to get on the ground and look underneath(as I don’t usually get on the ground in public parking lots). Upon making it Wednesday night, our neighbors sent us a photo of a sizable oil stain in our driveway where the rental had been parked for about 3 hours(first picture). We called Sixt first thing in the morning, notified them of the issue, and were told by a representative that an exchange had been initiated and to give the branch 2 hours to have another SUV available for us. Upon arrival we were informed that they actually didn’t have any cars, after a little pushback and background we were told they DID have a car but it was full electric and not of comparable size. We then spoke with the manager, Ms. Ciara Brown and were promised if we came back first thing the next morning(Friday, 11/28– the day we were supposed to be traveling home) that they would DEFINITELY have a vehicle for us as early as 6am and would include a free upgrade for the inconvenience, as well as a discount. Since she wouldn’t be present she wrote it on our reference slip(pictured). Upon arrival Friday morning at 7am(2nd oil stain pictured)we were told that there were no vehicles and that if we waited till noon that MAYBE they could get us into a car. We called customer service and got sent around in circles after asking to escalate the issue. At this point we were told by Len that they DID have several cars, but were not available to us by even the upgrade promised by Ciara the manager the previous day. This is our first time renting with Sixt and I can’t say we’ll make that choice again. I understand the holiday season is a busy time but an over booking is not my fault, and clearly wasn’t the issue here as there were several vehicles available. Additionally, I was made to feel like an inconvenience by the Dallas representatives as if it was my fault I was given a car that was leaking oil. I will note all of the representatives we spoke with were professional and kind, it just seemed as though none of them were on the same page and were all just saying whatever they could to continue to push the problem off to the next person, or the next day.

    Worst car rental company ever! I rented a car there the week of the Austin, TX F1 race in Oct. I arrived at their rental counter at the San Antonio airport prior to my rental time and requested that they cancel my car rental and I would pay the $100 cancellation fee since I wasn't cancelling within 2 days of the rental. Since my total rental was approximately $380, I should have received a $280 credit. Their system was so slow and the line so backed up that the agent said that she couldn't cancel my rental now, but she would do it once the line shortened......I shouldn't have believed her, but I did. I even tried to use their online system to cancel my rental, but it would not work....tried twice. I never received the $280 credit.....I called them and explained the situation, and they said I failed to cancel the rental. I even gave them the name of the agent at the counter in San Antonio airport (Nancy!).....and they still refused to give any credit. AVOID THIS RENTAL COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!
