I recently had a customer of my own try to purchase a vehicle, but wanted to take it to his mechanic at the shop before moving forward. Upon inspecting the vehicle, the mechanic at the shop realized that the oil cap was missing. I guess the previous customer and expecting it removed to put it back on, just a simple mistake. Being a mechanic shop I advised him I would pay if he got the cap replaced, which could’ve easily been ordered at any auto parts store. he refused to do this and as a result, I had to go to the auto store buy the cap for eight dollars and then drive over 20 minutes to the shop to meet my customer and replace the cat myself. Just a simple common courtesy would’ve been for him to order it and then I paid for it and for his time but he thought that I wanted something for free, which I clearly didn’t. if that’s why he does business I’d never bring a car of mine here.
