- LLLemonOct 10, 20251.0My car overheated nearby and I pulled in while waiting for a friend to bring coolant. I was on my period and in desperate need of a bathroom to change my tampon. The lady seemed offended I had asked her to open it stating she had just cleaned and it wouldn't open until morning shift. I was forced to stand still in the QT waiting for my friend as she contuined to give me a disgusted look for 30 minutes. I work in retail. It is not that hard to clean bathrooms that you leave someone standing in shame as they bleed through a tampon. Shame on that employee. I understand bathrooms closing at night in an area with a high homeless population but we cannot always help emergencies and some compassion would be nice.
- NNNanaSep 16, 20251.0Horrible gas station. I work the graveyard shift, so I often stop by gas stations nearby to use their bathroom. This one had a sign saying the bathrooms don’t open until 5 am. I arrived at 4:55 am and politely asked the employee if it was possible to open it just 5 minutes early. Instead of a simple “no,” she looked me straight in the eye, in front of another customer, and said: “No, I can clean up pee off the floor but I can’t open that door.” Why would you say something like that to a stranger? I don’t know her, and that comment was completely unnecessary. I’ve worked in customer service before, I know there are rules and sometimes you can’t bend them, and that’s fine. If she had just told me no, I would’ve understood and gone to another gas station. But telling someone you’d rather see them piss themselves and then clean it up than unlock a door 5 minutes early? I laughed it off but that was rude and left a really bad impression.
