okay frankly this applies to The Whole Business, nothing particular about this location, but this is the one I used to go to until today so this is the one catching this 1-star, sorry not sorry: You might as well just make memberships mandatory to get your car washed here because its So. Hard. To just come in, pay, get a car wash, and leave, without the full court press from these dorky teenage salesmen theyre probably paying Nothing with the promise of bonuses if they get X number of sign-ups a month, thats just me assuming, but thats how it feels. They make these boys HUNGRY for memberships. It's kinda pathetic. An email address is MANDATORY now? I politely declined to give my email and was told "I can just lift the gate and you can move on because we need an email" Multiple times, so they email me my receipt and the "Unsubscribe" button is broken and takes me to the AI website they probably used to make their dumb email advertising whatever that I now have to mark as spam. So Thats why it's mandatory because it locks you into their newsletter. For a Car Wash. They're opening up a Bunch of new locations,I cant imagine these can make their money back with this business model. I can just buy a bucket and sponge and do this nonsense myself.

⭐ 1★ Review If your vehicle is more than five years old, be aware that this car wash’s policy appears to be to deny responsibility for damage. My minivan went into this Quick Quack car wash with all exterior trim pieces intact, and came out with one piece dragging along the ground and another left inside the wash tunnel, which had to be retrieved by an employee. I reported the damage immediately and completed their incident report as instructed. After waiting an entire month, I finally received a response from their “Incident Team.” They stated that they had conducted a “thorough investigation” and determined that their equipment did not cause the damage. In the same message, they explained that because my vehicle is over five years old, they do not accept liability for damage, citing possible “age-related wear and tear.” So according to Quick Quack, two pieces of trim just happened to tear off while my vehicle was inside their wash tunnel, yet their equipment had nothing to do with it. That is quite a coincidence. Their suggested solution was that I contact my insurance company. For anyone considering this location: if your vehicle is more than five years old (which describes the majority of cars on the road), understand that any damage that occurs in their wash will likely be considered your responsibility, not theirs. I hope the company will reconsider its position after reviewing what occurred inside the wash tunnel. Timeline: Damage reported immediately at the location → Incident report submitted → Response received one month later denying responsibility. Use at your own risk.

Update to everyone: You see the genetic response to my review.I am very used to Ai generated responses and can tell this was a Ai bot responding. Again horrible experience yellow Wack Duck carwash! Hello, I am writing to request contact from a regional manager regarding several concerns I have about the business practices at your San Antonio locations. As a resident and taxpayer in the city, I find it uncomfortable that employees are frequently positioned on multiple street corners holding signs. This goes beyond the entrance area and feels intrusive to the community. Additionally, I believe the pricing for your car wash packages is excessively high for the value provided. I was also disappointed to see a previously customer‑friendly car wash purchased by your company, only to then be marketed to at significantly higher prices. Also i would like to add i'm not sure how its authorized to suspend and void my membership i setup with that carwash. But great work i guess! Overall, these issues have left me with a negative impression of the business, and I do not feel comfortable being a customer under the current practices. I would appreciate a follow‑up from a regional manager to address these concerns. Thank you.

I’ve been a loyal regular at the Dash car wash on huebner for a long time, but since the new ownership (Quick Quack) took over, the experience has gone downhill. Because Dash is being rebranded, I had to come to the Babcock Quick Quack location. My visit was disappointing for a multiple reasons: 1. Damage: The wash cycle actually bent my front license plate. When I go to a car wash, I expect my car to come out cleaner, not damaged. 2. Aggressive Solicitation: I was pestered four times to leave a Google review before I had even inspected the job. It feels like they care more about their online rating than the actual quality of the wash. 3. The price at Dash was $20/mo for unlimited. Here. The CHEAPEST wash is $24, ranging all the way up to almost $40. The price is going up and the experience seems to be going down. I’m disappointed to have to find a new "usual" spot, because I won’t be returning here. Save your money (and your license plate) and go elsewhere.

On 2/28/26 they were giving out free car wash at the new location at Babcock to attract customers. However, they receive the customer with "would you like to get unlimited wash for one month for $9.99?" Knowing there is always a catch, I specifically asked them if there would be an additional or recurring monthly payment. The lady said "no". I asked again, "will I be subscribing to a some sort of membership or annual membership?" The lady said "no". She said "it is only $9.99 for one month and you'll get unlimited wash". So I went ahead and gave her $10. She said, "you have to pay with a debit card". Then they asked me to sign their screen without even telling you what is that about or having the chance to read it. After leaving the place, I checked my email and there it was. I was subscribed to a monthly membership of $25 with AUTOPAY, and with a $5 fee for cancelation. So I called customer service and Mr. Trevor said that my membership was actually of $39.99 monthly, but fortunately, he was able to cancel it so I don't get automatically charged next month. So if you are not looking for a membership, DO NOT PAY THE $9.99. I was expecting a catch, but NOT lies neither to be subscribed to a monthly membership that cost FOUR TIMES MORE and with AUTOPAY without my CONSENT. Also, the place does not dry the cars. Cars actually leave soaked. I also agree with the fact that the location is terrible and with the fact that this area does not need more car washes. There is more than one carwash 1-2 min from this one at any direction you go: North Babcock, Babcock and Hamilton Wolfe, in Huebner and Research Dr, and Huebner and Eckert. This one is just wrong.
