Well I had to purchase a battery but needed to turn my old one in for the core charge. Well my old battery was an Optima battery( Real expensive). Bought the cheapest battery i could afford and I slapped it on. Drove it to work. Well when I left work, I turned the truck on and the battery light was on again . Made it home. The next day I took it to another Autozone to get it checked and it wss a bad alternator. Luckily I purchased that one about 5 months ago and still was under warranty. But now im thinking I never needed a battery after all. Can't return it because they took my expensive battery as a core and I know they dont have it anymore.
