- AAAustin in San AntonioFeb 21, 20265.0Stopped by for paint for my exhaust tailpipe. This was a pleasant visit as the employees were very cheery and helpful. I love entering a place of business and just feels so relaxed and employees so nice to interact with. I want to add that the employees were not just Pleasant and cheerful but they were interacting and it felt so comfortable because it felt like it was just a family environment. I want to thank the employees that were there on duty that day because they just made me smile they made me laugh and when I walked out I just felt so secure about my purchase. I could have bought the wrong totally different item, but with their interaction I walked out knowing that I made the best purchase of my life.

Just want to leave a positive review and apologize for my bs attitude.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
