Does not work for Toyota Bz4X, the EVgo charger will not work with Toyota Bz4X. Have a year free charging and can’t even use it. I have contacted EVgo and Toyota and both are pointing the finger at the other. EVgo won’t connect with my vehicle via the Toyota app or their app. The screens are all scratched up and facing the sun so it’s next to impossible to see what’s on the screen. I keep getting the “failed to charge please unplug wait 10 seconds and try again” message. I have restarted my phone restarted both the Toyota and the EVgo app and I’m always met with the exact same notification that it has failed to communicate and charge with my vehicle. 🤷♀️ I’ve been trying to fast charge my vehicle for the last week without any success. Highly disappointed in this unfortunate occurrence.
There’s also only ONE EVgo location participating in the Toyota program in a 20 miles radius of my home, I’ve had to go to charge point which works instantly when I plug it in and hit “start charging” and my car stays on in “room mode” like it’s supposed to when connected. To be partnered with Toyota and not be able to charge a Toyota without jumping through hoops is wild, absolutely wild. It would be nice if these actually worked, next time I’m across town I will see if I have the same issues with the EVgo chargers in balcones height.

One 350kw charger has been out of service for over a month. You would think that with how expensive EVgo is, they would have restored service. They need to replace these chargers with Tesla that allow non-Tesla users. Yes, yes, I know EVgo is working hard to restore service after a month of maintenance excuses.

I've been reporting issues with three of the charging connectors at this location to EVGO weekly since May 27th. There has been no indication that anything is being done to fix these chargers. In addition, the app continues to show one as fully functional. It is disappointing that nothing has been done to repair these stations over the past 6 weeks.
