Al ingresar a la tienda, el establecimiento parecía vacío. Tuve que anunciar mi presencia diciendo "Hello" en tres ocasiones antes de que algún empleado se presentara. Cuando finalmente apareció un trabajador, lo hizo con una actitud sumamente defensiva y hostil, preguntándome de mala gana: "What you need?". Al solicitar una revisión de batería (battery check), el empleado me negó el servicio de forma tajante, argumentando: "It is almost close, we close in one hour and at night we cannot go out". Esta respuesta me resultó contradictoria y discriminatoria por las siguientes razones: Falta de consistencia: Mientras se me negaba el servicio alegando que no podían salir de la tienda, pude observar a otro compañero entrando al local tras haber estado afuera con otro cliente. Mi vehículo estaba estacionado justo frente a la entrada. Trato discriminatorio: La actitud del empleado fue despectiva. Sentí que fui juzgado y criminalizado por mi apariencia física (tengo media oreja) y por mi acento. A pesar de ir vestido de manera formal y presentarme con respeto, el trato recibido me hizo sentir víctima de racismo y xenofobia. Negligencia en el servicio: Faltaba una hora para el cierre, tiempo suficiente para realizar una prueba que toma pocos minutos. No es aceptable que una empresa con la trayectoria de Autozone permita que sus empleados traten a los clientes como si fueran una amenaza o una molestia. Este tipo de prejuicios no tienen lugar en el servicio al cliente. Darrell was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient in his work. Go here if you want to get stuff done. DO NOT go to the other autozone store 2650 S A.W. Grimes Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78664 location.
