- JLJose LoezaDec 4, 20251.0Where do I even start? My wife went in to get an oil change and made it explicitly clear that she did NOT want any other service done besides a Full Synthetic oil change. That is it. They tried upselling her not only on an engine air filter, but a cabin air filter as well. BOTH of these options were declined, and yet at the end of the service, they told her that her charge was $127. She asked why it was that much (we had a coupon and the original quote was $80–just for the oil change) and they stated it was because of the engine air filter. She politely reminded them that she DECLINED that change and guess what? The employee notified her, only AFTER it was done, that “We threw away the old engine air filter. We don’t know which trash can it is and we aren’t going digging in the trash to get it” so essentially, this employee FORCED my wife to pay for a service she didn’t WANT. They offered to drop the price to $100 total for both the change and filter but that DOES NOT come CLOSE to making up for this abhorrent mistake. I will NEVER visit a Valvoline AGAIN and this location ensured that.

This Thanksgiving, I am appreciative of Drew (a manager who meets you with a smile) and his crew (Pablo working with me on price and Ty talking to me about his hiring experience). I will continue to come here for car care-- and even suggested my sort-of son-in-law start his job hunt here, for never have I ever seen someone frowning while working or waiting here. Keep up the good work, y'all!
