It's an Autozone, so they all pretty much had the same stuff. The reason I'm giving 2 stars though, is that; we went to harbor freight down the street to price cheap hydraulic floor jacks before going to Autozone. Harbor freight had what appeared to be an identical floor jack for $10 less. We asked if Autozone price matches, and were told yes. However, when it came time to actually match the price we were told that it had to be the exact same brand, in this case, "Duralast". Autozone owns the "Duralast" brand, and is the only retailer allowed to sell or use that brand. It would literally be impossible for them to price match to somewhere else because NOBODY else can sell "Duralast". The "Duralast" brand, like most store branded items at every other store, comes from China, and they just put their sticker on it. So, it's the same floor jack. Why have a price matching policy if it is literally impossible to use?

I came in to buy a starter for my 2019 Kia Soul. I told him the year, make and model. He didn't ask for any more information & sold me the starter. My husband tried to install it for 3 hours and couldn't get one bolt on. He is disabled so this was an extremely difficult task for him. At the end of the day he stopped because he was in a lot of pain & it was getting dark. He thought maybe they had given us the wrong starter. We did some research & discovered the starter was for a different model Soul. We went back to the store the next day & explained the situation. One of the guys looked up our car using the VIN # & discovered it was a Soul + & we had been given the wrong starter. He went to get the manager for a refund. The manager was the same guy who had sold me the starter the day before. I told him he didn't ask me any additional info on my car when I came in. He shrugged his shoulders as if he didn't care. He offered no apology, didn't care one way or the other. I asked him why he had such a poor attitude and he just raised his eyebrows and walked away. Both of them were snickering. They didn't have the starter we needed & told us we could go to the store in Haltom City. We asked if they could call & make sure we could get a refund & PO purchase the right starter. They said just go there and they would refund it. With so many options available to customers we don't have to shop at a store with such poor customer service. A simple extra step on what kind of Soul we had would have prevented this error. A simple apology for their mistake would have gone a long way. Shrugging his shoulders and just standing there like it was not a big deal is unacceptable. Then walking away from us is the ultimate sign of disrespect. Next time we will go to O'Reilly's and avoid Auto Zone. The employees at the Haltom City store was amazing. They apologized for the other store's mistake & made the refund. We are just 1 customer so I am sure it will make no difference but fair warning...the manager name is John Goodwin or Goodman. My next step is contacting their corporate office.
