By far the best dealership experience I’ve had in years. Kurdian was awesome, he made sure I had everything I needed. They were very fair with my trade. I went into several stores asking for a straight trade and they basically showed me the door. CCVW and Kurdian made it happen. The gentleman in the finance office was on point too. If you need a car or you’re in the market definitely stop by.

I have dealt with Clay Cooley Richardson VW for a while, started when I owned 2013 GLI and now 2017 Passat SEL V6, and when I visited the Service Dept, I have always dealt with Advisor Alex Treber. Alex has been with the establishment for a long while, and he is always sincere, professional, and knowledgeable when it comes to caring for my VW. However, due to cost, I use Clay Cooley Richardson VW Service Dept only for services I cannot do myself or am unsure my independent service place can do.

Do you hate math and like to spend more on your car than you need to? This actually happened a while back, but I was talking about crappy car dealerships with someone, and I realized I never gave these guys a piece of my mind. We spent several hours here experiencing every cliché in the book: the 'forgotten' discounts, the four-square, the focus on monthly payments over total cost, and the classic manager 'closers' who swoop in when you start asking too many questions about the math. Seriously just Google "common car salesman tactics" and you'll find the checklist these clowns use. Our salesperson, Jimmy, kept insisting that an extra $12/month was just 'the cost of a McDonald's meal.' Here’s the math: that’s $432 of pure profit over a 36-month lease. I do math for a living; If it's just McDonald's than y'all can pay that yourself. The most absurd part? Their 'best' offer on a VW ID.4 lease was actually more expensive than a quote we had for a BMW from Sewell (MSRP $15,000 higher). When we finally walked, the audacity. They literally told us, 'Enjoy the maintenance on the BMW'. Pro-tip for Jimmy: It’s an EV and a 3-year lease. There is no engine. There is virtually no maintenance in the first 3-years of owning a car. And VWs aren't even well known for their reliability. We drove straight to Hendrick VW in Frisco and got the exact same car with a deal that actually beat the national offer. Even if you can get a good deal here, why would you want to deal with this?

We purchased a vehicle from Clay Cooley in June of last year, and it has been nothing but problems since. At the time of purchase, we also paid for GAP insurance and an extended warranty—and we have documented proof of this. Unfortunately, it appears someone in their finance department failed to properly process or “push through” the extended warranty. Now, when repairs are needed, they are trying to charge us out of pocket instead of honoring what we already paid for. On top of that, my wife has been told she needs multiple repairs and add-ons that are either unnecessary or have already been completed. This feels misleading and, frankly, disrespectful. We trusted this dealership and expected better service and accountability. Instead, we’ve had to deal with ongoing issues and poor handling of our contract. This will be the last vehicle we ever purchase from them. I strongly recommend others double-check all paperwork and consider going elsewhere.

Okay, this morning.I need to write another review for the dealership, Volkswagen clay Cooley in Richardson yesterday. I wrote a review, but it did not come out. Right too many mistakes. So today this morning, I thought I'd ride another one so on. The Friday the 13th I went to purchase a vehicle about a 2025 Volkswagen Tigua. I fit good in it. But when I drove it home and drove it around, I felt seat was uncomfortable. The driver's side, I am a disabled veteran and I have a bad lower back. So what went back r mind UI got it on Friday at 7 PM I drove it home parked it Saturday. I drove it around for a little while Sunday. I couldn't return it because it was close and monday.I had to go get an adjustment for my lower back at the v a so tuesday morning, I want to return the car back or see if they could exchange it.The gentleman at the finance department, the bald had it guy, I guess he's a man in charge of the finance told me that he could get me into another vehicle. So I at that time I asked him if I was gonna have to put more money down, he said no, that he would take care of it. He had me waiting anywhere from 7 hours. Then, he told me that I would need to put another $6000 down. And I didn't have that much money more. To put down after I already put $6000 now. So he told me that I told him that well, I wanted my money back, and he says, that's not the way it works. It's either you get an equal value car, or you get into a higher price car. I left their disappointing because of clay Cooley's commercials. You bring the car back within 3 days. You get your money back and that's what I was depending on After I came home, I realized that he had lied to me. I went back said he there was nothing. He could do I went over to all right, cooly, chevrolet in Irving. They try to help me out this. They sold me aquinox trade it in the volkswagen and mind you, that was within 7 days of when I purchased a car and now Volkswagen will not give Chevrolet the down payment that I put for for the the volkswagen they took the Volkswagen back to the dealership. Here in Richardson, the dealership came and dropped the car back off at my house after talking to the dealership. In Irving, they said, just take the car back and one of the owners is going to get involved and take the car back. Well, they brought the car back. The following morning now I have 2 cars. I have the Chevrolet and the Volkswagen, how is that right? I am a disabled veteran on disability. How am I supposed to pay for that? Thank you for listening confused customer
