- BRBarb Redgreen3 days ago2.0This is about the blonde cashier. Card reader on pump 18 didn‘t work so I had to get the pump opened inside. No idea why she made such a deal of it, but I noticed she called all the men „hon“ then said I „threw her off“ when I asked for Diesel and DEF. Hey, I am the customer, and I am willing to spend 600$ in the next 10 minutes for my 18-wheeler. This old trucker will remember the cashier and location!

I've been in the trucking business for over 10 yrs now and it's something about this Pilot that I just came shake. Something that makes this Pilot original like it was the first ever made. For some reason this location just stands out from all the rest and I'm a Pilot guy. If your a trucker, we all have our preference of what truck stops we prefer to stop at. From the Food always being fresh, the showers also clean, like I mean really clean, the washer and dryer machines always working and for some reason I never have trouble getting a parking space here. I really want to give a special shout out to my man Mike that works here although. He told me he just started a few months back and Everytime I've stopped here in the last few months we always run into each other. The energy he brings to this place and the customer service he offers is outstanding. I've seen him do things I haven't seen any other associate do. Example just caring. He speaks to everyone as they come in and even out. Not just the simple welcome to Pilot slogan, but Hey How's your day going kind of conversation. That's a person that cares and the guy didn't even know me. I feel like I've known him for years from the conversations we've had and I've been able to vent to him when I didn't have anyone else too at times. There are a few other employees that fit the same description but I've just haven't had the same interaction with this guy Mike. There is the cute blonde that's at the register here and there but all jokes aside this location is awesome. Shout out to Pilot 8221 US-287, Rhome, TX 76078. Keep up the Great work. You all are part of the reason I keep trucking.

But did do my laundry only thing is there's a bit of a smell nothing crazy dont know if it's the water or the washer hasn't been cleaned. The food was decent for a Truck stop. Staff was great 👍 very welcoming. If am in the area aging will definitely do my 10 to 34hrs reset here.
