  I came for a state inspection and it was completed in less than 15 mins. The staff was very friendly and attentive as soon as I arrived. I’ll definitely be back!

  I’ve been going to this location for years and was surprised when I checked out and was advised they didn’t honor the $3 discount anymore for repeat customers. Instead they offered a $25 discount on next oil change. As a loyal customer, I believe they should have gone and given me the $25 discount since my records showed I was a repeat customer; particularly since they didn’t honor the $3 discount on the reminder tag left in the windshield. Also, wasn’t informed up front what type of synthetic oil brand they would be putting in my truck. I didn’t find out till afterwards that they used Duramax. I previously have been getting Valvoline full synthetic oil at this location. Had I known upfront, I probably would have still gone with Duramax. The point is the attendant should have communicated what Brad of oil they were going to use and let the customer decide before proceeding to do the work.

  I drive there to get air put in my tires mind you I've lived in red oak my whole life and I've been driving for 9 years I've never been asked to get out of my car and put air in my own tires. This black guy with a heavy beard starts getting disrespectful and saying you don't know how to do this? I said I have never gotten out of my car to put air in my own tires. He then said so what if you were on the side of the road. I said I know my PSI I would be fine. He then try's to give it to me and he said are you paying attention and I'm looking like bro I'm not even paying attention because I came here so you could put air in my tires. You wasting time trying to teach me something I already know. If I wanted pump air into my tires I'd have gone to a gas station. Thats like me coming to get an oil change and you telling me get out and change my own oil what kind of shit is that. I was just at jail car a month ago to back up the fact I've never been asked to get out of my car. The guy was doing the most. I he kept trying to get me to do it so after he did 2 of my tires I told him cool and left. Not to Mention He Ripped my hubcaps off without asking and then half ass put them back on. How y'all gone tell me it wasn't the case lol

  Oil change, charged for 6 quarts of oil, Van was still 1 quart low, I had to add another quart, oil capacity is 6 quarts. So the math means they only added 5 quarts, not 6. Also they changed Air Filter and tried to charge me $50 for a $20 filter, which I just recently changed the week before. Had them put my old filter back on and delete the $50 charge. Also found belt on AC compressor had a cut/nick. Old trick being played by service tech, belt makes noise now. I am not coming back to get it serviced, will do belt change myself. I used to manage claims for oil change service in past, I know about this trick, so BAD. Will tell all my colleagues NOT to come get service at this location.

  EDIT/UPDATE - as of 11/19/25 - Kwik Kar did reimburse me for the oil and my dipstick. Never a real apology though. Just beware - check your engine and make sure everything that you came in with is still there. Had my oil changed there on 8/3/2025. "Thought" I received good service. Went to check my oil on Sunday (10/19) and imagine my surprise when there was no dipstick there. NONE!! My oil dipstick is just gone!! That hood has not been opened by anyone other than Kwik Kar. I called immediately and was told nothing was in the notes about this but to "come in" on Monday as the manager and tech who did the work would be there. No - I can't come in. I'm now having to buy another dipstick and 2 quarts of oil that it's now low. I'm out $24.89 for an O'Reilly's dipstick and $12.44 for each quart of oil ($24.88). And who knows what damage this has done to my car for driving without a dipstick for 2 months. I did call on Monday, was told I was speaking to a manager, but that "the" manager was out making a bank deposit and would call me back. I haven't heard a peep from anyone. I'm not one to go all over Red Oak Talk facebook and post what has happened to me - but the lack of caring from this business is making me change my mind. BEWARE - if you have any work done here immediately check your vehicle and make sure everything is put back. What a freaking joke this place is. Can't even call me back and attempt to make this right. Very disappointed. You over me over $50 and a lot of time.
