- CHCaysee HiggsDec 22, 20251.0I was not told prior to my oil change that they were out of my typical oil, but they assured me that I would not be charged for the upgraded oil and would only be charged for a standard oil change. I needed a cabin air filter as well. I had a 50% off coupon due to a bad experience LAST oil change so I opted to buy the air filter with the knowledge that I was paying 50% off a STANDARD oil change. I shamefully did not ask any questions because I felt I could trust what was being told to me. However, after leaving I realized my final bill was $105!!! This is AFTER my 50% off was applied to a “standard” oil change. My receipt shows I was charged for the upgraded oil that I never asked for and never consented to. I ended up spending MORE with “50% off” than I would have had I gotten the type of oil I was told I was going to be charged for. This is the second time this location has let me down on service and the second time that they have not been true to their word and their pricing. The $105 was not in my budget and now I have no money until my next paycheck. I even made joking comments about being late on my oil change because I am so tight on money and they reassured me that they weren’t charging me for their mistakes, which was a lie.

Caleb (I read his name from name tag) decided to ignore me and asked the car behind me to get service. I left absolutely frustrated without getting service and wasting 26 minutes.

CSR:Richard was professional and explained some periodic maintenance that is necessary to keep the car running well for longer. Topside: Jesus was respectful of my vehicle while he performed the checks they do for free and while doing his part of the service. I didnt see the bottomside guy obviously, but Im sure Bilal as listed in my unvoice is another positive part of the team. I appreciate the quality work and the positive atmosphere. Some shops, especially dealerships are very pushy and very “knowledgeable” and treat me as if Im not. They also take your bank while acting superior so who needs that. I will continue to get my Rogue services at this Valvoline shop because they do qualitly work and act professional and respectful.
