What started as a straightforward brake inspection turned into a frustrating, nearly week-long runaround.
On 4/3, I brought my car in and was told my front brake pads were fine, but my rotors were worn and needed to be replaced. I was given specific instructions to call back Saturday between 12–1 to see if the mechanic could come in. I did exactly that except there were issues with the phones lines, so I drove up to the shop myself. The mechanic wasn’t there, and the manager, Kevin, told me to come back Monday and he’d have parts ordered.
Monday came, and I made the trip again. The mechanic was there this time and took a look at my car, only to tell me the exact same thing I’d already been told: the rotors were bad and needed replacing. But he had no parts, couldn’t order them himself, and the manager was out due to a family emergency. Come back tomorrow, he said. On 4/7, I finally got service except it wasn’t what had been discussed at all. The manager, Kevin, replaced only the brake pads, and I was told the rotors didn’t actually need to be replaced after all.
To his credit, Kevin was the one person throughout this process who genuinely seemed to listen to my concerns and made an effort to understand where I was coming from, something I didn’t always feel from the other staff. I appreciated that. Even so, the overall experience was confusing and exhausting. Four trips, a week of back and forth, and I still left without a clear answer on what was actually wrong with my car in the first place.

We came here to get our car fixed, Bryan was really helpful, he explained what was wrong and fixed it quickly. Loved the service, would definitely recommend.

On my way home from work, I heard something dragging from the bottom of my car so I went to the closest car place I could find (which was this location off municipal and 14th). Milton was the only person working at the time, however, he quickly came to find out how he could help me. He was very friendly and so kind. Good customer service is hard to find these days, however, Milton provided excellent service by explaining what was wrong, fixing my car, and sending me on my way with a smile. I was so thankful that what would normally be a very stressful situation, was easy and quick. Thank you Milton, you truly blessed my day! 🙏🏽
