  Horrible experience at the location on HWY 46 in New Braunfels. Please read through the reviews before renting at this location. We were delayed getting to our location due to lack of attention to detail and customer service is poor. Staff is slow and seems more engaged with each other then with customers. Poor management.

  We had a very negative experience at the location on HWY 46 in New Braunfels. We rented a midsize SUV for a trip to celebrate our 28 yr anniversary in Florida. Upon checking over the midsize suv it did not have a spare tire. We were told to “most of the rentals did not have spare tires and we could just call enterprise if we had a flat”. I insisted that we have a vehicle with a spare tire. We were then switched to a compact suv when we should have been switched over to another midsize suv since that is what we paid for. Due to the delay in waiting for the compact suv to be cleaned and looked over prior to us driving away we were late two hours to our destination and had to cancel plans we already had scheduled for later that evening. There didn’t seem to be attention to details and employees seemed to carry on amongst each other instead of focusing on customer service. This place did not meet our expectations and further when we called to try to get the final bill corrected since it showed we rented a midsize suv but we actually were given a compact it was difficult to get that taken care of and after trying to get that fixed twice to no avail. I gave up. We were warned by two others not to use this rental location but we had already set up rsvp online prior to being told. We thought everything would be fine. All that to say. We do not recommend this location. Also, the vehicle we were given was dirty and badly scratched up inside. I had to sit in the back seat because we were not sure what the stains were on front seat. Also, when we spoke to an associate and told 3 different responses about our rental the associate hung up the phone on me. Just poor service all the way around.

  UPDATE: I Must say, that I allowed SOMEONE ELSE to write the review after Crying to them! I went in the VERY NEXT day and The Young the young lady Took time to listen to me and REMEMBERED our FULL CONVERSATION and helped me get it reversed! Times are DIFFICULT for me in this season! So every obstacle I need to think it through prior to thinking the worse, right off the back! Thank you E! Please BE CAREFUL WHEN renting from this location. I rented on 06/03/26 at 3:45 pm and with Auburn hair assisted me. They MUST MAKE a commission on Upselling coverage! WHEN I EXPLAINED TO HER that I had ALREADY PAID for an Accidental Coverage she stated “We Don’t even Accept 3rd party Coverage, then QUICKLY ASKED me who my Auto Insurance Coverage was through,?” I stated State Farm! Well GUESS WHAT? She PICKED ON THEIR IPAD THAT I wanted Enterprises coverage and of course Just makes it where you Sign your name and THEY SCAM YOU! She must not have Individuals GO BACK IN AND CALL HER OUT, however that is a SCAMMER if I have seen one! I will kindly be going in to speak to them! Please STOP TRYING TO TAKE WHAT YOU HAVE NOT WORKED FOR! So sad that you can’t even get away after losing a loved one (my Husband) without a company trying to POKE YOUR EYES! This is why the Manager HIDES IN the office behind the check in/out areas! So sad!

  My car pickup was at 12noon. 2 hours later and I'm still waiting.... not sure if I should cancel my work trip because I doubt I'll make it in time to do my work. Very let down
