  I absolutely cannot recommend this shop highly enough. Our journey started in Sept when the transmission in my wife's Tahoe bit the dust. Every interaction with Mr. Jim was beyond expectation, from the first call to the day we picked it back up. He is a genuinely wonderful person to work with. A few weeks ago the trans started having a minor issue so we brought it in. Mr. Jim found a manufacturing issue and got everything handled for us. Family Auto really is a rarity these days. Thank you so much for everything!

  The owner Jim is a friendly, honest guy. I had transmission issue in Aug. 2025 on my 2010 Toyota Sequoia and before going straight to a new transmission Jim gave an option that might fix it. He was honest about the issue and odds. He even said if that didn't solve the issue I would not be out that money, he would apply it if I needed a new transmission (rebuilt or brand new). It worked for 6 months then similar issue happened again. Even after that long after the first service, he stuck to his word from 6 months earlier and applied what I paid for service and put that towards the labor on a transmission install! He updates you on the process too and even says if he gets busy and you don't hear from him, give him a call. I had my vehicle back in 5 days, ready to go. I highly recommend Jim's shop.

  Highly recommend getting your transmission service done here, when you call you get Jim the owner it’s like talking to someone you’ve known for years, honest, and trustworthy service. I’ve been coming here for 4 to5 years for my yearly transmission service, it has always been quick Jim stands by his work, I had my transmission serviced last year and had some shudder start in September/ October. Jim and his team took care of the transmission and got my truck back on the road.

  Jim is awesome. He and his team took the time to evaluate my car, and when they didn't find anything, he didn't charge me and also recommended me to other trusted places for additional work I needed that he doesn't do. They also gave me a courtesy ride upon drop off. Highly recommend!
