  Dropped my truck off to get the windshield put in. They called and said it was ready to be picked up. After paying for it, I get in, start it up and get a warning on the dash saying there is something wrong with the front camera. Go back in and they tell me they messed up on the install and it would be another week before they could get it fixed. Gave me some BS about how they had to let the glue dry. Looking at the paperwork they gave for new install care, the glue should be cured by day 3. Also, there is no way they didn’t know that it was installed incorrectly. They had to start the truck to back it out of the bay and park it. Pure laziness on their end.

  Why make a four-hour appointment window, then overschedule your tech knowing that they're going to miss said window by an hour? Had 8-12 scheduled, nobody showed. No call, text, or email. Called the office, and she said I was his 4th stop of the morning. Tech arrives an hour late, says it'll take at least an hour to an hour and a half. If that's how long each job takes, you intentionally overscheduled your technician. Terrible way to do business, terrible way to treat customers, and terrible way to treat your employees. I'll find another glass place next time.

  Poorly Run - Don’t Waste Your Time I had an 11 am appointment. I arrived at 10:50 and was advised it would be a 1 or 2 hour appointment. I had to take today off of work for this appointment. It’s now 12:30, 1 1/2 hours behind schedule. And my car is still sitting in the parking lot. They never advised they were having issues or that they were running behind. Go to another Safelite.

  Not their fault the OEM glass is no longer made, however; very much their fault in not communicating the differences and being clear on the differences. If they were not the company my insurance is contracted with so it was easiest, I would not have gone with safelite. Will not in the future regardless. Again install will hopefully be fine, communication was not, and the glass they say is all that is available leaves ugly gaps and headliner edge exposed, and it just not a quality replacement and I believe effort should have been made by safelite to correct those issues.
