- GWGeorge WarrenJul 10, 20255.0Just before my last trip to Midland, I remembered that I hadn't rented a car. So I went to Expedia and found NO cars available at MAF for the days I would be there. Individual websites (Budget, Avis, Hertz, etc.) showed the same thing. Somehow I found a van for rent offsite at Enterprise Truck Rental in Midland and booked it. At least I had a vehicle. The following morning I got a call from Clarissa who said she was surprised I was able to make the booking– because they DON'T rent vans! I got really nervous... But Clarissa did some magic and found me a nearly-new Ford F-250 pickup. It was beautiful and the rate was reasonable. I met Clarissa at the airport and told her how much I love her LOL!
