  The people I dealt with and the process itself were great. The truck, however, was not. It became obvious very quickly that it was poorly maintained. It seems that Enterprise wants to do the minimum but expects the maximum from their customers. That's not how I was taught a business should run

  I rented from this place bc I was moving. When I went to pick up the truck, it was made clear to the lady in the office that I would not be the one driving. She even asked my mom (who was going to be the one driving) if she had ever driven a truck like that. She got up in the truck with my mom and showed her how to use all the controls. She even watched my mom drive the truck off the lot and me drive my car. At the end of the move, my mom was driving and hit the side of the storage building. Yes, it scraped the truck, and yes, since we were renting the truck, we knew I probably wouldn't get my $700 deposit back. Since the lady in the office didn't do her job and 1) didn't add my mom as a driver, 2) failed to inform us that since the rental was under my name that I was the only authorized driver, they have made an insurance claim that of course will come out of my pocket. The thing that I have a problem with is that it was made clear that I wouldn't be driving, and Enterprise failed to adjust the contract. I will never rent from them again. I will stick with Uhaul. Update: It has been 4.5 months since the original rental "incident". My mom and I have been on the phone with everyone in the company, sent emails back and forth , and visited the local location on numerous occasions. Everyone would direct us to someone else, and almost none of them were helpful at all and just glossed over the fact that the lady in the office that booked the rental didn't do her job by taking my mom's information after we let her know numerous times that she would be the person driving the truck. The whole issue was finally resolved today (not in our favor). I do want to say that the manager of this branch (you know who you are) was the most helpful and empathetic to the situation and actually understood that the ball was dropped on their end and made phone calls and sent emails herself on our behalf. Even though the result wasn't at all what we wanted, I want to thank her for all that she did and for her and patience.

  I've rented from here once. Be prepared for them to hit you with a $300 deposit which feels steep to me. I feel like they were a little difficult to deal with.
