  Safelite was asked to give a quote on a rear glass for 2025 Hummer EV Pickup. They quoted $650. I went in for glass clean up and wrap until glass arrives. This was mid December. They put the wrap but left all the broken glass. They said the tech coming to replace the glass in 9 days would get the glass cleaned up. They tech came 9 days later without the glass to see if he could even do the replacement mobile. He left without cleaning the broken glass and said they would be in touch. When they got back in touch it was Jan 2, 2026 with a quote of $1265 and has to be done in shop. On the second they said they hadn't gotten the glass and I just need to go to the car dealership. I personally vacuumed the glass out, took out the top of the back seat, 3 plastic pieces removed and put my own glass in today Jan 10, 2026 in 45 minutes after waiting 5 days from ordering the glass myself to delivery at my front door. Safelite is not what they claim to be. They suck.

  The convenience of them coming to you is fantastic! They were on time, very communicative, friendly, and efficient. The price was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

  Dropped my 92 Honda Accord LZ off at 8am on Monday, December 8th with the manager(didn't get his name)to get the front windshield fixed planning to pick it up later in the day, I prepaid as well when I made the appointment, I get a call from the same manager a few hours later explaining they didn't get clips with the windshield kit being the car is older so they came separately, no worries, keep it overnight. At approximately noon on Tuesday, December 9th I get a call from a technician named Ed with some bad news, they already removed the broken windshield but once they removed it they noticed some rust that prevents them from installing the new windshield, he sends me a picture of the rust and explains I'll need to take it to a body shop to get that taken care of before they can install the new windshield. At 4:45pm I arrive to get my car without a windshield, Ed and the manager are already gone but Christine, the receptionist is there and explains she'll cancel the work order so I can receive a refund in 3-5 business days. So now I have an undrivable car and am currently down 366$ until the refund comes in, they didn't offer a tow or any resolutions to get it elsewhere, although it was in drivable condition when I dropped it off. Not entirely confident I'll receive a refund, but I'll know in 3-5 business days.

  Terrible experience. Very difficult to deal with, hard get a hold of anyone to help, infuriating AI menu. The first technician showed up with the incorrect glass for the vehicle. The technician was nice. He apologized said they would call me to reschedule. They did not. I had to call them after not hearing anything for a few days, they said they would call when the new glass came in. They did not. After another few days, I called to follow up and they said the glass was in and could schedule me for the next day. Then, before ending the call, the Safelite representative threw in that I would have to pay some amount that my insurance wasn't covering, despite having a zero deductible, and not being told I would have to pay anything at any point in the roughly two weeks leading up to this conversation. Went somewhere else, was a tremendous waste of time.
