- EPE PrenticeNov 9, 20251.0This is the second time I have been to this location, and I will not be back. Both times my oil was changed without the filter being changed. The first time, the Valvoline employee let me know that the filter housing was rounded off and needed to be replaced. He assured me if I bought and brought in the part at my next oil change, which would need to be done sooner than normal, that it could be removed and replaced. I bought the part and came back. I sat there for 1.5 hours while the employees took turns hammering on the housing to remove it - unsuccessfully. I was told that I could take it to a different location 2 days later because the "person who says he can remove it" was off for the next two days. I was charged nearly $100 for an incomplete oil change. I immediately took my vehicle to another mechanic, who used a basic, strap oil filter wrench to get it off. I would avoid this location. On the plus side, they were very friendly.

They even went the extra mile to top of all fluids (coolant, washer fluid), checking brakes, tires, exterior lights, filters, battery, air filters, and even wipers. And even showed pricing on recommended additional services. Their pricing is very competitive. I initially thought my car is conventional oil and thought it would be cheaper with all promos and etc advertised online. But most cars are full or semi synthetic oil, which cost more than conventional, but the price can go down if have a coupon/promo. Your looking anywhere around 80-100 dollars for a car that takes about 5qt of synthetic oil.
