Sewell Audi McKinney has always been First class until recently. I’ve serviced many cars there including an R8. I just purchased a RS6 from another dealer because they didn’t have any. These cars are few and far between. I intended to have them do all the service on this vehicle because I live in McKinney and they’ve always been great. I drive in today to meet them and get this car on their books. I asked if there info tech person could help me set up some things I didn’t understand. I was greeted by a gentleman who informed me that if I didn’t buy the car from them it would be very limited help. I kind of understand this but as a long time customer I hoped they would accommodate. That didn’t happen so I guess they won’t get my service in the future. They also won’t get any of my new car purchases either. So, they saved a little money by not helping me but lost on the back end. It’s very disappointing how incompetence and policy out way common sense. So there you have it. Bye bye Sewell McKinney.

We just purchased our Second Audi and our first one from Sewell. I originally switched to Sewell because we weren't happy with the service where it was bought. What a difference! Fast forward 2 years and it was time to upgrade, I now know we not only upgraded models but Dealerships as well. I have never enjoyed a car buying experience like this before. Our sales person Hennie was one of the easy going hard working folks I've ever seen in the car business. I will defiantly recommend Hennie to all my family and friends.
When we drove our new Audi off the lot it had the Tx plates and our Toll Tag already on it. Only thing left to do was enjoy.
We are Sewell customers for life.

While I am grateful to have my vehicle back in top condition, there are specific areas regarding the "middle" of the service journey that require attention.
The "Three Voice" Communication Issue The most glaring challenge was the lack of a unified voice within the service department. On several occasions, I was communicating with three different individuals via text, all of whom provided varying statuses on my vehicle’s progress. One person would suggest a milestone was near, while another provided a contradictory timeline. This inconsistency created a sense of instability and unnecessary frustration. In a luxury service environment, a "single source of truth" is vital; the fragmented messaging made a difficult situation feel significantly more chaotic.
Logistics & Delays The repair duration was compounded by months of delays in parts delivery. While I understand global supply chain volatility, being without a vehicle for several months is a heavy burden. During this "logistical limbo," the quality of customer service is truly tested, and the lack of a clear end date made the wait much harder to manage.
Professionalism Under Pressure (Hannah & John) Despite these systemic issues, the staff worked hard to bridge the gap:
• Hannah: As my primary contact, she was the face of a very delayed process. Even as my frustrations grew, she remained professional and ensured I received some level of communication throughout the ordeal. Her resilience and commitment to the client experience were commendable.
• John (Service Manager): John’s involvement was crucial toward the end. He stepped in to ensure the vehicle received the focused attention needed to move past the parts-related stagnation. It was clear that once management took a direct interest, the momentum shifted toward craftsmanship and precision.
Technical Quality & Final Result The technical restoration was excellent. Once the parts were secured, John and Hannah ensured the mechanical work was handled with the utmost diligence. The car feels renewed and reflects the high-performance standards I expect from the Audi brand.

I had an excellent experience working with Joe Rupprecht at Sewell Audi McKinney. I spoke with several Audi dealerships across the DFW area, but ultimately decided to work with Joe.
