- AWAngela WesterMar 30, 20262.0Annette, the counter agent gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ BUT the return process at this airport facility, needs fixed. There SHOULD be signage posted! “Rental Car Return” doesn’t cut it because that’s not even clear. I did a one way rental from San Antonio, so maybe my experience is different from the normal. Was I supposed to drop the car off in front of the airport (arrivals/departures) or proceed to the rental vehicle holding lot area?! Signage should state…Park returning vehicle in the rental lot, in an open marked spot and proceed back into the airport (up the sidewalk dragging your luggage) to the rental desk to finish your return. I did a one way return and I had no clue until I finally saw a guy who cleans the vehicles and I asked. Extremely frustrating! I took a picture of where I parked, my mileage, proof I filled the fuel tank and instead of the walk back to the airport from the lot, my mom drove me back out and around to the airport then I went straight to the rental counter. There has to be a better way at this airport location. I would rent from National again, I just want others to be aware of the process.
