  I was running late to the airport when I heard my tire pop. I pulled into their parking lot to find the largest screw I have ever seen. They put my spare tire on (free of charge) and sent me on my way! I am very grateful for their kindness in a time of emergency.

  I have taken my 2015 ford edge here to Manvel Grease Monkey now 3 times. Each time dealing with Chris or Alex the managers of the day. These gentlemen are old-fashioned HONEST to the bone and will not try to sell you something your care doesn’t need or upsell to make more profit. They talk plain English for those of us who do not understand auto mechanics so you can make a wise decision. They employ efficient, talented mechanics who get you in and out of service vs a dealership that that will let your car sit for days leaving you without transportation. I brought my car to a dealership for a scheduled recall and battery issue. Before I left I was told I needed to replace the replace the battery, the fuel pump or parts, and I needed brake pads and rotors. I asked for an estimate ($$) and said thank you, I will just replace the battery which was only 10 months since last replaced. I took my car to Grease Monkey in Manvel and told them what the dealership claimed the problem was and asked for their estimate. Wow a big savings which was to be expected. But WAIT. The manager wanted to check the car himself to see if the fuel pump really needed repair service. He came back, fairly certain saying my fuel pump was fine and didn’t need service. WHO DOES THAT ??? Any other other mechanic would have gladly taken the money for the service whether service was needed or not. Like I said, this Shop has a culture of honestly and fair pricing and that is why they do such awesome business for such a new business in the area. That is integrity and customer service 101 and it will continue to reward them in the future. I don’t live in the area but will make the drive to Grease Monkey every time. I also chose to get my brakes done there, states inspection and oil change and still spent less than 1/2 what the dealership wanted to charge and was in/out in maybe 2-2.5 hrs vs 3 days waiting on a dealership to just get around to my “scheduled appointment”. You can trust Grease Monkey. The office is clean, quite, provides a table if you need to set up a laptop for work while you wait. Ladies the bathroom is clean too!!

  Alex the service manager is an outstanding representative for grease monkey!! This is the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in auto care. I highly recommend this location. He took the time to explain to me the maintenance that was needed for my vehicle. They technicians did an awesome job with my oil change and cleaning the inside of my car. Thank you grease monkey ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
