Today I visited AutoZone with my father to replace the battery in his Ford F-150, and we had a great experience thanks to Debbie. From the moment we walked in, she was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. She tested our old battery, confirmed it had no charge, and even checked whether it was still under warranty. When we found out it wasn’t, she guided us through selecting a replacement and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Her customer service was excellent.
I’ll admit I was hesitant to return because of a previous visit where I dealt with a manager who was rude and unhelpful, and made me feel uncomfortable for not knowing much about cars. However, Debbie completely turned that impression around. She was patient, respectful, and genuinely helpful. I’m really glad we went back—thanks to her, it was a positive experience.
The most incompetent staff I've ever encountered, and I'm not even talking about just AutoZone. The manager was the worst part. I came in to have my battery changed under my warranty, which went smoothly as soon as we identified which account it was under. Once the manager popped my hood, she took one look at my battery and immediately said she wasn't going to change it because of "corrosion". She didn't even test my battery. My fiancé had to come down to the AutoZone after work to help me. He lightly passed the brush over the battery terminal with a small wire brush about 5 times and the "corrosion" fell right off. Of course we were both upset because it's the employees' job to follow through with the warranty and provide full service. The manager failed to take responsibility and do her job. I paid for this battery and the warranty so that AutoZone could replace it when needed. My fiancé did all the work save for going to the back and grabbing a new battery. The manager, an older hispanic woman (I say this as a hispanic woman), needs retraining and possibly a refresher on company values and policies.

Amazing service
Horrible staff. Lowest customer service at an Autozone I’ve seen
Came in today to purchase oil change and fuel filters and batteries for my truck. Was helped by a lady named versa terrible customer service. On her phone asking her significant other if they had showered and ate as she is assisting me. Goes to the back to get my fuel
Filters. Comes back still on her phone asks me to put in my phone number. Gives me my
Total. I told her i was not finished that i needed more things like my batteries for my truck. Completely disregards my question and gives me my total once again. Terrible customer service. Disgusting attitude.Will never spend my money here again. IF YOU DONT NEED YOUR JOB OR LIKE WHAT YOU DO STAY HOME.
