  The guy that’s always there, Ethan I believe, is always pleasant, kind, & helpful. The 4 star rating is not a reflection of the employees but of the fact the place is closed on Saturday.

  I was on hold with their company in the store and needed a pen to write down a number. Employee offered me a pen so I grabbed one. Employee then rudely snatched pen from my 2year old who was drawing on a piece a paper to pass time while on hold. I then ask if we can find a way to speed this up since it’s hard to be on hold with a kid then Ethan Martin proceeds to say he doesn’t have to deal with that and he won’t rent me a car. I call management they say it’s a satellite company they can’t do anything about it even though he was in the wrong. They also only have one employee, him. Do not go here.

  I’ve now worked with two different employees, one being Austin and the other I don’t think I got the name of, in the past couple of days and honestly I have just good things to say. I was very hesitant and ready for battle after ready reviews and also being ignored by the Athens location, and I even voiced my surprise that not only did this location have cars available but it was very seamless to work with them and my insurance for the car. The second time was earlier today. The first car I rented the seat didn’t go down far enough for my short little legs and was so uncomfortable, and luckily when I called they had a car available that was smaller if I could get in before noon. The employee met me outside and seamlessly traded out cars, this one is perfect for my short stature, which is great because I’m apparently going to need it for like 2-3 weeks. I definitely will in the future bypass Athens and just work with mabank, I appreciate the welcoming demeanors of the employees and having cars available. Also fyi: the blue Malibu from Ohio smells like you’d expect Ohio to smell like: cows, sadness and tall people.
