  Never go here in the morning, especially on a Monday, and expect that your reservation is ready, or that you will be in-and-out quickly. Plan on at least 1 hour, but expect more - especially if you come in the morning. When there was finally someone at the counter (phones ring off the hook constantly) and got my information - for a two-week old reservation - they put my car (not the pickup I had reserved) in the queue to be washed and cleaned out. 45 minutes later, my "car" was ready. Horribly managed and unprepared for each days business. This is NOT your standard Enterprise car rental company. Unfortunately, little to no local competition to force any changes. If you must rent from here, makes sure you have a reservation and a two hour window to wait. And by-the-way, go after noon.

  We were very pleased with our rental. The agent, Leah, made our experience a pleasant and easy process. She was polite and understanding as we were rushing to get there before they closed. She eased my frazzled nerves and was a pleasure to do work with. Definitely will use them again.

  Nice and courteous. Vehicle was brand new. Very clean inside and out. I would rent a vehicle again from Enterprise.

  The usual “I’m leaving one star because I can’t leave negative stars” review. I reserved a car online on Monday to pick up a car on Wednesday. I called Tuesday to confirm the reservation and that a car would be available. I was told “depends on what we get in”. I explained that this car was needed to attend the funeral of my niece in Alabama. The response “yeah, well it just depends on what we get in”. I was told I would receive a phone call yesterday afternoon to let me know the status of my reservation. Never got a call. Called again this morning to get the same old song and dance. The absolute worst experience and not even a shred of customer service. Avoid this place!

  I had a very disappointing experience at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car location in Lufkin, Texas. I had to put my primary vehicle in the shop, so after leaving the dealership in my other vehicle, I went to Enterprise to rent a car. The woman at the counter took my name, put me on a list, and told me a vehicle would be available around 5 p.m. Based on that promise, I left to get something to eat and then returned to Enterprise before 5 p.m. I then waited approximately another 45 minutes in the lobby, only to be told that they were “short staffed” and that there would be no vehicle available for me after all. No one called to update me, and I was not informed of this until after I had already wasted my time waiting. To make matters worse, the manager or assistant manager was rude and dismissive. His attitude came across as flippant and uncaring, as if it was no big deal and I would just have to deal with it. For a customer who was already dealing with a vehicle in the shop, this lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was unacceptable. I am sharing this so that management is aware of how customers are being treated at this location, and I hope steps are taken to address both the false assurances about vehicle availability and the unprofessional behavior from leadership.
