- ESE.K. SowellJan 30, 20261.0Recently we had single digit temperatures. The devise did not work well at start up and it went into violations not because of a breath test, it went into lock out due to the number of tries. It locked me out and I had to pay a fee to get them to unlock it remotely. A few days before that the same thing happened, and I had to have it towed to the Tech center since it would not remotely reset. They replaced the bad (only a week old) device. They covered the replacement however I had to pay the wrecker for a thirty-five-mile tow. Also, the amount of breath power needed to blow, inhale and blow again is extreme and causes me to have to do it two or three times while I am driving. Not cool. I am not a happy camper. I am hearing impaired and cannot hear the so-called beeps however the red light is how I know when to blow. Sometimes it makes me blow every few miles which I pass with a 0 however it is very inconvenient in traffic conditions since it will also time out if you do not get to it in time, then you are going into lock out with a remote reset $80 plus dollars or in my case have to have it towed with a wrecker.
