  This shop has always been so kind and helpful. Mikey got me in right away and was able to get me taken care of in such a timely manner. Great staff and customer service. Mavis is my go to place anytime I need something with my vehicles! Thank you guys!

  Shoutout to Mikey at Mavis Tires & Brakes on Texas Ave in Lubbock TX! The customer service was excellent from start to finish, and their prices for tires and alignment were super affordable. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for honest, fast service!

  Excellent service! A big thank you to Jimmy and James at the Mavis Discount Tire in Lubbock, Texas on Texas Avenue across from the fire station. Shredded two tires on the 5th wheel 14 miles north of Lubbock on I-27. The only open shop was Mavis in Lubbock and they closed at 5 and it was 4. I could only travel at a very slow speed to get there and they waited. James and Jimmy waited along with Brandon and we finally made it at 5:15 pm. They replaced all of our RV tires in 1/2 hour.....with a smile on their face. A very big thank you to James and Jimmy for their extra effort for the customer.....that was exceptional service after hours. We did thank them both when it finally ended at about 5:45 pm....on a Sunday. Because of their dedication/hard work, we were able to make it to Palo Duro Canyon by 8 pm.....and we did make it home and the tires are doing just fine. I do want the owners to read this and be able to acknowledge the fine staff they have in Jimmy, James, and Brandon. Thank you all for your time and hard work! Fred and Cherrel.....and the dogs!

  I uber and had a flat while driving , panicked because it was around 7:30 pm drove on my tire to get to gas station, luckily Mavis Tires was open til 8:30 , I have AAA roadside, so came and aired my tire , gas station air was not working. Drove immediately to Mavis and I had ruined my tire, Mike was so helpful, gave me good price on new tire. I’m so grateful, I was back on road by 8:35. They will be my new tire go to.

  Working out of town, I woke up to a flat tire. I pulled into this shop on my way to work and asked the gentleman outside if they could air up my tire, and they did, at no charge. I later noticed I had a screw in my tire and was heading back to Midland TX later in the day and needed it to be repaired. Called and was able to set up an appointment without any hassle. Went back later, and they checked everything: fixed my tire, caught a crooked cabin filter and they were able to swap it out for me.. Abel at the counter was awesome and super helpful Mikey in the shop? Total pro and courteous, easy to talk to, and just made the whole ordeal pleasant. Great people, great work. Five stars, no question. Thanks, y'all—definitely coming back!
