It was an awesome experience especially being out from California and having to have my tire patched. He not only patched my tire but checked all of the other ones to make sure I had a safe trip and let me know if there was another issue I wasnt aware about. JIMMY is the best I've come across hands down.
I will definitely pass by here again for all my future trip needs.

Never again waited 2 hr -3 hr for a pair of brakes to be changed nobody ever communicated to me that they order the wrong rotors for my vehicles ...so yes if you know you know I said what I said this is some stupidity for not communicating to your customers. You want me to pay for the service that you can't communicate about. Like I said never again. Hell I don't even want to leave any damn star if I could it'd be blank

I called for an appointment and I showed up first thing the following day. I had bought my 2014 jeep, with 218,000 miles four months prior. I wanted a good, honest mechanic to inspect the car and perform some routine maintenance (There was no Carfax or history available). I then met Bradlee. We talked about the car and about His vs My philosophy on competance and honesty between mechanic and customer. We both agreed on some points that were important to me. He could have told me almost anything and I would have probably went with it. I am disabled and couldn't get it checked out sooner.
Our coversation touched on concepts such as: He doesn't have to make all his money on one visit. We talked about items that we felt were important (oil change, check fluids, air filters, suspension, brakes and tires). I knew I needed four tires and an oil change, and he would inspect other necessary items and call me with a quote. He then had Abel, his Tire specialist who had been there over 20 years, drive me home, as I would have had to call an Uber. I would be picked-up after the car was ready and brought back to the shop. No charge. He called me with a short list of items he felt needed attention at the time. Then he told me about additional items that would need attention, but could wait a few months, especially after he got to know my driving habits and needs. He could have told me the differential needed attention or gaskets and hoses needed replacement, but he didn't. We both had a look of understanding that this kind of treatment would give me no reason to try to find another mechanic to do those repairs. He would make his money on all the future work that I see no need to shop around.
He gets me as a customer and a person. One with monetary limits and unique driving needs. I feel like I found a diamond in the rough. Mechnics have a suspicious reputation because they always come up with bizarre items that need work. Or provide a free inspection which is just a list that many would get customer approval and might not do anything, or maybe replace the OEM part they quoted me with something made in a basement out of a toaster.
I have finally learned that not everyone is looking out for my best interests. Even though I am probably 40 years older than him, it was like being advised by my late father. I was taken care of based on the car's needs, as well as my own limits on resources and time. The car runs great and I reviewed the detailed list of services performed. Everything was fair for both of us. I don't have to look anywhere else for my future automotine needs. Mavis Tires and Brakes took the time to understand my needs, desires and resources related to my car. I wonder if they know anything about plumbing. Oh well, that will be another challange for another day. For now, I am a happy motorist who is not worried if my car will start the next time I need it. I don't know why anyone who is looking for an honest and competent mechanic (a contadiction of terms?) would not put this company in the mix. I'm not easily impressed by too many things. I always get something and then I go crazy for days deciding if I made the right decision. I don’t expect to have that problem with my car needs in the near future. Thank you, Bradlee. I'll see you in a few months for the next phase.

Jimmy and the guys who worked on my car were great! They helped me out quick when my back tire unexpectedly went flat. Didn't even take them 30 minutes to rotate my tires and put my spare on very grateful they were able to help me out on a weekend especially
