- MKMonya KeattsDec 29, 20251.0I did not have a good experience with Safelite in Lewisville. I scheduled an appointment for someone to come to my workplace to install a new windshield on my car. The price was $1100. They came out on Tuesday, 12/9. I had a time slot from 8:00 to 11:00. He arrived at 11:15. It took 2 hours to install my windshield. He told me he had finished the installation but couldn't calibrate my cameras. So, I needed to make another appointment for that. In the meantime, none of my car's cameras worked. I had to go out of town, so an appointment was made, and they asked us to bring the vehicle to them. The car was taken to them; they kept it all day and told my husband they ordered the wrong parts/windshield to get it calibrated. One week went by, and they had two guys go to my husband's work and finally get it fixed. This is totally wild. If they cannot get the job done without taking the car in, they should not sell that package. If I pay $1100 for a windshield, it should be done the first time. I should not have to drive my car around for almost 3 weeks with all the alarms going off and my cameras not working. I really hope that all Safelites aren't run this way. I am extremely disappointed. Terrible way to run a business.

The service that they did was great! I'm not sure if others were late but if they are should have to reschedule or wait to be squeezed in. Excuses are like.....!
