  I have had the pleasure of having Jacob work on my truck 2 times now. This last time was due to a transmission failure. He also has worked on several of my family members vehicles for a few years now and always does a great job for a competitive price. The best thing about Jacob is he is a no BS straight to the point/honest kind of guy which is hard to find in the industry. If you're someone who has been mislead/been taken advantage of in the past by a mechanic, and you are looking for someone trust worthy who has your best interest in mind this is your guy!

  If you are looking for a straight shooting mechanic to use for the rest of your driving life, this is your man. My 2018 Santa Fe & Hanson's Automotive, 1st job: A/C went out in the summer a few years ago, he found pin hole in the condenser. Gave me a quote to replace it and it was a fair price, but I didn't have the funds at the moment. He plugged it and refilled the coolant to get me by for a bit. I came back with funds and said just give me a whole new A/C system. Great work in a timely manner. Been ice cold ever since. 2nd job: I had a slight transmission shifting bump around 175,000 miles. Had them do a transmission fluid flush and spark plugs as maintenance. He said transmission flush may not solve my problem. I said, understood but I'd like it done for peace of mind. He did his due diligence in his disclosure and performed services as requested. (side note: it did not fix it but did lessen the shift bump). 3rd job: Last week I was traveling to Houston and lost driving/engine power & the check engine light came on around Anahuac, TX, on I-10 West. I limped that car all the way to him. He checked it out and said the problem is lost combustion pressure in cylinder 4, and I have tried all the trouble shooting options and I am unable to revive it. My options were to buy a crate motor, used motor or scrap it. Jacob found some used motors, discussed crate motor options and also the reality of putting a new motor into a car at 218,697 miles on the odometer. I have decided not to put a motor in and donate the car to a charity and he is being patient with me while I facilitate the removal of my dead car.

  I dropped my car off the morning of Monday and the next day after my car was already ready to be picked up. They gave me a fair price for both parts and labor, I would recommend them for most automotive issues.

  I showed up without an appointment with hopes of finding out what was wrong with my vehicle. Not only did I receive great customer service, the process was explained every step of the way and they actually fixed my car! Staff was very professional and welcoming and I was in/out in a timely manner. I’d definitely recommend this place for your automotive needs.
