  Friendly from the very start. Opened early and got me right in. I noticed the communication between the team immediately. Everyone communicated about each step of the process not only with each other but with me as well. Multipoint checks and all hands on deck. This oil change stood out above any I’ve never had before, so much that I had to leave a review! Zach is running a great shop! Thanks!

  I was blown away with how nice the people were there. We had at least 5 of them checking in with us as we waited in line. We are retired so did not mind waiting. Finally they insisted we move to the front of the line. They wanted us to be serviced quickly. They were so kind and thoughtful. The oil change was great as well. I used my coupon. It was completed very quickly and efficiently.We truly felt like a valuable customer.

  Five Stars for Exceptional Service! I don’t usually stick to the same place for oil changes, but today’s experience completely changed that. Despite a bit of a wait, Andrew was incredibly kind and calm throughout—his demeanor made the whole process feel relaxed and respectful. Leonardo and Joshua were both efficient and equally kind, working with care and professionalism that didn’t go unnoticed. It’s rare to find a team that makes routine car maintenance feel this pleasant. Thanks to their amazing service, I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

  I came in about 30 minutes before closing on October 28, 2025, because I was heading out of town and really needed my oil changed. Even though it was close to closing, everyone jumped right in to help — not just me, but each other too! From the few guys working on my car to the ones tag-teaming underneath it, they all worked together like a well-oiled machine. Nobody seemed bothered or irritated that I came so close to closing, which really stood out to me. I’ve been coming to this Valvoline since I moved to Kyle in 2024, and every visit has been great. I’ve had my transmission fluid replaced, my coolant flushed, and several oil changes done here. They’re always fast, efficient, friendly, and professional. Big shout-out to Cayden, the service tech who greeted me when I pulled up and walked me through everything. He explained the coolant flush process and how it helps prevent corrosion and long-term damage to the vehicle. I really appreciated how knowledgeable, patient, and kind he was throughout the whole visit. I also wish I could shout out the entire team working that evening before closing but I didn’t get names lol — but they all jumped in to help and even waved, smiled, and told me to have a good day as I was leaving. That small gesture says a lot about the kind of people they are. This team truly goes above and beyond, and their teamwork, professionalism, and positive attitudes are the reason I’ll keep coming back.

  Beware: took my pathfinder to get an oil change, whoever did my oil change overfilled it which ended up causing issues to my vehicle. I drove from Kyle to San Marcos and when I arrived in San Marcos my engine light started blinking, engine was shaking causing the whole car to shake as well. I was so worried and scared because I didn’t know what was going on, all while having my toddler in the vehicle too! I immediately called Valvoline and I explained to whoever answered what happened and how I had just left their store after getting an oil change, they immediately said I needed to talk to corporate and transferred me to open a claim, I informed both whoever answered and the rep at corporate I did not feel safe in my vehicle driving back to Kyle, thank God there was a Nissan dealership across from where I was so I took it in there, and thank goodness I did!! They confirmed Valvoline had overfilled my oil by 2quarts!!! which was causing everything to get faulty. The corporate rep at Valvoline told me to forward them any paperwork from the service department so they could conduct their investigation. After a few days of dealing with the store manager Zach they FINALLY admitted they were at fault, Zach was beating around the bush saying everything we were saying was “debatable” and did not want to own up to what his people did, let me tell yal, their people are not all certified, they do on the job training to get certified so be careful, he was so condescending to me I no longer wanted to deal with him so my husband took over the communication moving forward. We ended up paying around $634 for the repairs at the Nissan dealership which Valvoline reimbursed after a week. If they hadn’t reimbursed us I would have taken them to small claims court for sure! Although they have good reviews, there’s also some bad ones, just look at them and you’ll see a trend. Most people won’t leave a bad review because they get reimbursed by Valvoline, but not me, if I get crappy service I’ll let it be known. Pics attached of the report too!
