  We rented a car to drive home to TN to attend a funeral for my Wife's father. So about 100 miles from our destination the check engine light came on. So when we arrived things were so hectic with the funeral arrangements that I was unaware of which actions to take. So we felt that we would deal with it once we returned the vehicle. With tensions and emotions already elevated I didn't want the anxiety of worry if the SUV would break down, so we didn't drive it as much. We actually returned the vehicle hours before our expected return time but as I tried to explain the Situation to your agent she just brushed us off and made it seem like it was our fault. Promised someone would call within 24-48 but nothing yet. Still charged us full price with no type of appeasement or discounted rate. No customer service at all from her. Overall horrible experience with everything.

  Very quick and excellent service, but they need to hire more people. There was a wait and a long line because they only had one person working for two agencies at once.

  The gentleman who helped with my last minute rentals went above an beyond to provide exceptional service for the group of 5 who traveled with me. Not ideal that such a large group shows up without reservations, however the service was well beyond my expectations. I say THANK YOU for being so accommodating to our situation and ensuring we were taken care of. I don't typically provide feedback to rental companies because the overwhelming majority of them treat you like a number. In this case I/we were treating like people and prized customers and that type of service will always solicit a response from me. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for the exceptional service.

  Rented an SUV from Alamo Rent A Car in Killeen TX and overall, the experience was good. The vehicle was in excellent condition, clean, reliable, and comfortable. Due to some changes in plans, I had to extend the rental for two extra weeks, and thankfully, the online system made that process very easy and smooth. One downside was when I returned the vehicle, there was no one at the desk, so I had to drop the keys in a return box. It would’ve been better to hand it over to someone directly. That said, the overall cost was reasonable for an SUV rental, and the convenience of the extension process made things easier. Would consider using them again.
