The sales Team was amazing. Katie did a fantastic job of having everything prepared and ready for me. She ensured it was a smooth process and transition with the trade-in to the new vehicle. She had me in and out of the dealership in 2 hours. The rest of the s t aff was equally impressive and friendly and took great care of me while making sure me every need and concern was met. Fantastic job, this was hands down the best experience I have had purchasing a vehicle and plan to recommend them to everyone.
I can highly recommend Philip Marlowe in Sales at Ken Stoepel Ford. I had a very positive experience in purchasing my new truck. Philip is a good listener and a darn good problem solver. He was patient in determining and satisfying my needs, and worked hard to resolve my concerns and find the right vehicle. I don't give 5 stars lightly, but I do have to say he earned each of them.

I just bought a new Mustang from Ken Stoepel Ford in Kerville. The entire experience was the best new-car purchase experience I've had, and I've bought 18 new cars over the past 40 years.
I first made contact with them via Zach in the online sales dept. He was helpful and not pushy - what a rare experience! Zach set me up with Matt in Sales for a test drive.
Matt is awesome - he was also helpful during the drive and not pushy about closing the sale. We negotiated for a fair deal on the price of the Mustang and value of my trade in. I was happy.
Tom in Finance got me an interest rate below the maximum I said I would pay. Nice surprise! Tom made the contract process fast and informed me of optional service agreements, but did the push them on me. Notice a theme? The team at Ken Stoepel were always friendly and always helpful but never pushy. What a refreshing experience!
I had to return to the dealership the day after purchase to drop off the second key to my trade in. I had noticed a small factory defect in the vinyl stripe on the Mustang and brought it to the attention of Benjamin (internet sales department, I think). He contacted Mike, the sales manager, and Mike arranged to get it fixed quickly. I could tell he wanted to make me an even happier customer.
Because of my experience buying the Mustang I will take it to Ken Stoepel for service even though a different Ford dealer is closer to my home.
And when it is time to buy a new Ford I will head straight to Ken Stoepel Ford.
I have purchased probably 20 new cars over the past 30 years ( I know I have an illness) and I can tell you that buying from Ken Stoepel with Phil as my salesman has been the best experience I have ever had bar none! Phil is the most respectful professional I have had the pleasure of working with, now having bought three new vehicles through him. He is the first and only car salesman that listens to what I want and doesn't try to inflate the sale artificially selling me something I don't need. For instance, the latest sale was a F250 Super Duty Platinum FX4 package and when I called to discuss options on trucks with Phil, I was looking at diesels for no other reason than the occasional towing I perform. He walked me through the advantages and disadvantages of diesel vs. gasoline engines in this class relating to MY particular use plan. He didn't just see dollar signs because I was willing to buy a $100K+ truck, but wanted to ensure trust was maintained after I drove off the lot and for years to come. I will buy any/all future vehicles through Phil for this reason. While Phil is the best, I want to highlight the rest of the team as well. Whether the managers who approve the best deals possible or the Finance department folks who make sure we are covered by warranties that we choose the terms and will actually protect us, every person I worked with at Ken Stoepel was top-notch! I wrote in my Ford review that anyone living in San Antonio needs to expand their search area to Kerrville, because the professionalism and no-nonsense sales experience is well worth the picturesque drive outside the city! If you are in the market, know your trust will not be broken here!
