- MSM SJan 20, 20261.0I've been coming to this location for about 6 months almost every morning for an after workout soft drink and occasional gas up. Mostly the same crew is there every morning. Some of the crew speak, some do not which is fine. This morning 1/20 there were 4 employees doing their morning chores stocking shelves. While the gas pumped in my vehicle, I came in to get my beverage. The young man working that I see often walked within two feet of me and clearly avoided eye contact...which is fine. I walked up to the counter with my beverage...the only customer in the store. The morning manager was speaking to another employee behind the counter as the young man mentioned before walked to the cash register not 3 feet from me. He once again avoided any eye contact and proceeded to leave the counter space and turn his back on me to continue his stock work. There are now 3 employees standing within 5 feet of the only customer...a regular customer with a drink in his hand being totally ignored. I find this humiliation unacceptable. I dropped my beverage on the counter and walked out. I won’t be back. I am sure the loss of my petty daily routine will not make a difference to the bottom line. Given this is a regular crew, I would wager my experience is not isolated.
