  Spoke with Sam the owner last Friday evening, in regards to purchasing a skid steer he said he acquired thru storage lien, he showed me the machine via FaceTime running and operating. We made an agreement on price which was going to be a very good deal in my opinion, I told him that I was 3 hours from his yard and that I would go to the bank first thing Monday morning, half the payment would be in cash and the rest on a cashiers check, I wasn’t comfortable giving someone that much cash. He agreed and understood that I would be taking the day off of work to make this arrangement work and would be driving straight to him to purchase the machine. I spoke with him again briefly Sunday afternoon to make sure our deal was still good he said yes and I reiterated my plans for the following day to get payment and meet up; we even discussed travel times and approximate ETA.The bank requested a vin# for the machine, I called Sam to see if he could get me that information, he said give 30-45 minutes I said ok no problem 9:45am. 90 minutes later I called him back to check in , he said he was busy but to give him 30 more minutes and he would get it to me, and this situation persisted the rest of the day, I called several more times over a hour apart and texted until the end of the business day, he then said it would have to be tomorrow. I understand being busy, but to blow me off and not be straightforward was disrespectful. I called him back to say I didn’t appreciate him leading me on all day and wasting a days worth of my time, his reply was for me to go buy another machine elsewhere. I am very disappointed with how I was treated and feel like he was looking for a way to unwind the deal he had made with me. I guess I am just fortunate that I wasn’t on the side of the road stranded, and had him repeatedly tell me for hours that he would be there in 30-45 minutes. Then inevitably to just have him at the end of the day tell me, you will have to wait until tomorrow. Reply to Sam Marlow Sr.’s comment Your recall of the events are laughable, at the end of the day I called to say it was Bs you lead me on all day (9:30-2:30 bank closes at 3) with your give me 30 minutes, you became disgruntled and told me off. I didn’t ask you to drop everything, I just assume knowing my time would be limited and like we discussed I was going to take off and make a special trip for this purchase, I thought my time and large payment for this machine might bear enough weight on your priorities to assist me with a vin #( over that 5-6 hr period) you and I should have both had. I was excited about the machine and that was an oversight, I didn’t notice that it wasn’t listed on the peak auction page, like everything else you tried to sale. When I realized that it wasn’t listed on the description it seemed kind of odd and shady, especially after him requesting the full payment from me in cash, I regret this endeavor not being better or having any resolution. Nothing was ever said about rescheduling pickup, especially earlier that day. Never called anyone a POS or cursed, it must have been someone else trying to conduct business with this guy. If everything was setup like you say for me to come get this machine; I have a hard time believing, that since you or your helper that answered the phone didn’t have time to attain the vin from the machine or the paperwork that was supposedly ready, how would you have ever had time to meet for the exchange, none of that seems plausible.

  My wife’s car broke down in the middle of nowhere on her way home from a work trip in Houston. She called 3 other tow companies first and no one could get to her. Marlow’s answered the phone and was able to get to her in less than 45 minutes. Junior was a great guy. He gave her a ride to meet me Kaufman, then brought the vehicle to our shop in Dallas. Will definitely remember these guys next time we need help. Great price too!

  Had a flat tire on HWY34/CR139 today and Marlow’s was sent to tow to Firestone in Terrell. They were quick, extremely friendly and courteous. I’ve had the misfortune of having to have several tows over the years in this area and I can say that this experience was the best I’ve had. Highly recommend.

  Car broke down on a Sunday evening 60 miles outside Dallas and they got a truck to me in like 45 minutes. Call was placed by Geico roadside assistance. Had a good time talking with Junior in the tow back into town. Would definitely recommend 👍
