My lane assist and collision auto emergency braking worked for about a year then it stopped working and they said it didn’t fall under the warranty and it would be $500 to calibrate it. The dealership couldn’t calibrate because they said it was an aftermarket windshield! Just take your car to the dealership and only get a OEM windshield!

Although prices are definitely expensive… I believe they are fair with the cost of the windshield in addition to labor.

They used a pressure machine which is supposedly the new technology and they cracked my windshield. They gave me a choice of a failed repair or accept it. Now I get a 175 dollar credit for a $500 windshield. Thanks safelite for taking care of the customer! Don’t use safelite, use the glass companies that still drill to repair.

If your car has a specific window like mine (laminated instead of tempered) which had to be ordered from the dealership prepare for a long wait. I had to call multiple times to get that order finally completed. Technician did a great job and did everything fast and neat. She was very friendly and nice. Also it was sort of hard to find contact phone number for safelite (the phone number on the site for some reason gave me error message)
