Wasted my time. Promised me if I brought in X amount of money on multiple occasions that I would get some kind of RV - ANYTHING WOULD HAVE SUFFICED - but we got nothing each time. I wasted three separate afternoons after they called me and lied to me and my family three separate times that we were guaranteed to get an RV of some kind if we simply came in. Do not believe anything they say. This is a predatory dealer. If are unfortunate to buy anything from them, the service ends the moment you leave the lot. I am told by other customers this dealer does not honor warranty or assist you if a product has an issue immediately after purchase. Go to some other dealer. Buyer beware.
Absolutely useless! Salesmen w don't know what they're selling. Staff is no help. In the middle of our transaction, our "salesman" quit, so we had to start the process ALL over. Less than 6 months later we had a leak, they didn't want to send anyone out, argued with my husband about the repairs, refused to cover them. These are cheaply made. Not "all weather proof".. Paid extra for slide out awnings and for them to be installed, now one is ripped and they won't send anyone to look at it, told my husband it's either an installation error or product issue, however they suggested to just remove it. Good Sam membership is also a joke. Save yourself some money and time amd go somewhere else to buy your rv from.

Update, I just got trade in value literally 3 days after purchased 13k knocked out purchase price. Cost of wanting luxury life I guess.
My first RV experience. I kinda purchased the RV in the way to world camp. So I took partial on this since I felt I should trust big name… on Thursday night I purchase Colman light 29BX and on Friday morning I went to RV park to visit friend and compared the two RV. While the Colman light has several issues, finishing were slobby, screws not secured, cabinet magnet failing off, leaks from the sink, few minor things that I fixed. My friend has the Katlina 2025 brand new bought, has 3 AC units, audio system internal and external, auto stabilizer ( valued at 7k at world camp ), electric heater and so much more upgrades, interior much nicer, floor is vinyl. My friend got it for 4k less than what I got it for.
I felt pretty ripped off since my friend has all these upgrades and paid less….
So I contacted sales man, just next day. I mentioned my frustration not only the rip off but also the Colman light finishes weren’t quality finishes… so what’s my option to swamp with another with similar upgrades…. What ticks me the most, he didn’t care much about the quality of finish’s, like he could say bring it and we can fix all the issues since I bought warranty. He just focused on the “ deprecation “ equity “ basically another rip off. I asked if he can at least add another upgrade to make me feel not getting ripped off at no cost, he said we need to charge you… so overall bad first experience and for sure not recommending that his to friends and family..
Hight recommend shops smaller dealers that don’t have the higher overhead I get better deals..

My wife and I decided to buy from this Camping world due to a great deal they were offering on a used RV. We were bait and switched from out of state to say the very least as to features on the RV, etc. After traveling across the country to Texas, we had no choice but to pretty much accept things and drive the unit home.
After experiencing multiple issues with the RV, They have declined to help whatsoever. Even when my local Camping world was willing to step up and help us, this Katy TX staff Never called or helped with anything as they promised.
Additionally, the finance person who checked us out never offered us an extend extended warranty. We Received mail from Good Sam offering us extended warranty coverage, but when we tried to sign up they declined us and state stated it would have had to be purchased through the dealer. End result is we get screwed out of purchasing any type of extended coverage for the RV.
We are filing a complaint about our entire experience with the Better Business Bureau in the hopes that this gets addressed so future out of state buyers do not have to deal with the experience that we have.
Do not trust this Camping World.

I am writing to provide feedback regarding my recent RV purchase experience at the Camping World location in Katy. I chose Camping World because of its reputation as one of the largest RV dealers, expecting a professional and positive experience. Unfortunately, this was the worst customer service experience I have ever had.
On the first day, our salesperson, Tess, was initially pleasant. However, when a manager came to meet my husband and me, he left my husband’s handshake hanging, which immediately set an unprofessional tone. Later that evening, we were called and asked to drive back to see an RV that had “just arrived.” We live approximately an hour and 45 minutes away, and this was during peak traffic. While we were already on our way, the manager called and stated that they were still trying to purchase the RV and did not yet own it. At that point, we were forced to turn around, resulting in nearly two additional hours stuck in traffic for no reason.
The following day, we spent almost the entire day negotiating and waiting. We were kept there for roughly seven hours, repeatedly delayed for a walkthrough, and pressured to sign paperwork that was incorrect. We were told to return the next day at 12:00 PM and assured the RV would be ready for pickup.
The next morning, I received a text stating the RV was ready. When we arrived, it was not ready at all—it hadn’t even been washed. Staff then claimed it had been cleaned, but when we went outside, the RV was still visibly dirty, including the roof. We were told we were charged approximately $1,600 for inspection and detailed cleaning services that clearly were not performed.
After this, our salesperson never returned to assist us. Eventually, another employee told us the RV was ready and brought it out, still dirty. At that point, after hours of waiting (it was nearly 3:30 PM), we were simply exhausted and wanted to leave.
After leaving, I received a call stating that the license plates had not been installed, requiring yet another trip back. When I returned, the front desk simply handed me the plates. There was no apology, no thank you, no congratulations on the purchase, no handshake, and no goodbye. We never received a follow-up call or message of any kind.
To make matters worse, on the second day, there was another couple at the dealership experiencing similar customer service issues, which suggests this is not an isolated incident.
This entire experience was disorganized, disrespectful, and extremely disappointing. I will never purchase from Camping World in Katy again, and I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future customers do not have to go through what we did.
PLEASE PLEASE READ ALL YOUR PAPERWORK AT SIGNING BECAUSE THEY WILL TRY AND GET YOU. It took them like 6 times to get the paperwork right the price kept being more than what we had agreed on, it was different in multiple sheets at signing.
