  Stopped by to look at a 2025 Jeep Wrangler. To make a long story short, when it came to the numbers they showed $2,200.00 in taxes. Having been a Service Manger at a couple of new car dealerships for over 12 years I questioned their figures. Their response was yes you get a tax break. The tax amount should have been 3 to 4 hundred dollars. I left and decided to keep my 2024 VW GTI Autobahn.

  Spoke with Hayden about the model I was interested in and he was very transparent about pricing and options. He is an awesome salesperson and made the experience easy and painless. When it was time to switch to finance and completing the paperwork, I got to work with the coolest guy there! Albert is a real one and made sure that I understood all of the numbers before I signed anything. He didnt even mind when I said he reminded me of Joe Pesci!   I had a fantastic experience purchasing my Kia Telluride from Clay Cooley Kia Irving. From start to finish, the process was smooth, transparent, and far less stressful than most car-buying experiences. I worked directly with Hayden Erlinger, who was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer all my questions, walk me through the Telluride’s features, and made sure I felt confident in my decision without ever feeling pressured. Andrew Hawkins was also great to work with and helped ensure everything moved efficiently on the financing and final paperwork side. The communication was clear, expectations were set upfront, and there were no surprises which I really appreciated. The team made the experience feel professional yet personal, and they truly worked to make sure I left happy with my purchase.   I bought a brand new Telluride almost two weeks ago. It should have been a really seamless buying experience because I knew the exact car, color, trim I wanted and had already test driven one. It still took three hours and I had to tell them I should have a Kia loyalty credit for being a returning customer. The buying process was fine, but I kept getting left in the Sales rep's (Sara) office for 15-20 minutes at a time while she had to go back and forth with the finance department. The Finance guy (Alfred) was nice. My second key fob was somehow locked in a guy's drawer who had left for the day, I accidentally left my garage door opener in my trade in vehicle, and two different license plates were installed on the car (didn't realize that part until I got home). I called immediately after leaving the dealership that I'd like the key and garage door opener to be mailed to me by Sara's offering. The follow up has been awful. No follow through on how my experience was by Sara or how the car is holding up. I have called, messaged, pleaded to get my stuff back to me and the license plate issue resolved. I have talked to about 4 different people over almost two weeks. I now feel like I am being ignored and screened by the dealership staff. I would make the one hour trek to go back but theres no telling if my belongings are even there to pickup. Horrible customer service. Also, notice how the owner only comments back on the user reviews that give five stars? Very telling...

  - Update - The general manager contacted me to resolve the issue. He understood the situation happened. Thanks! - Original - (2 Stars) I normally do not leave Google reviews, but I want to share my experience so other customers can avoid the same situation. I visited Clay Cooley of Kia of Irving to refinance my leased vehicle. I am not sure what is considered normal in situations like this. The staff at this dealership told me that the “Family Guarantee” normally comes with the purchase. However, I am still not sure whether this is actually mandatory when refinancing a vehicle. I have visited this dealership before for vehicle service, and the service department has always done a great job. Because of that, it is disappointing to have this kind of experience with the sales and finance departments. I visited this dealership to explore refinancing my leased Kia vehicle. I initially wanted to review my options and do some research before moving forward. However, during my conversation with the salesperson, I felt pressured to sign paperwork before I had the chance to fully review the details. I already knew the residual value of my vehicle, but the dealership added a product called “Family Guarantee” to the vehicle price, which increased the vehicle value by approximately $2,500. Before signing the paperwork, I clearly told the salesperson that I did not want to purchase this product. However, after reviewing the documents later, I realized that the service had been bundled into the vehicle price anyway. I immediately contacted the finance manager and the sales manager by email to address the issue, but I never received a response. I also visited the dealership multiple Saturdays over the next two months trying to resolve the situation. Eventually, I was told that the “Family Guarantee” was not refundable. What is confusing is that the signed document lists the purchase price of this service as $0, while the vehicle value appears to have increased by approximately $2,500. The document also clearly states: “Purchase of this coverage is optional, cancellable, and is not required to obtain financing.” Despite this language in the document, I was told that the product could not be canceled or refunded. As a result, I ended up paying additional sales tax and interest on a higher loan amount than expected. For anyone considering refinancing a leased vehicle, I strongly recommend getting pre-approved through a bank or credit union before visiting a dealership.
