  Tommy’s Express Car wash in Hutto caused damage to my daughter’s vehicle and declined responsibility. During a standard wash, the equipment pulled part of the rear bumper loose. The vehicle had no prior bumper issues, and we have photos taken shortly before the visit showing it properly secured and aligned. The claim was handled by Justin, the regional manager. It was denied based on unclear, low-quality images rather than a physical inspection. We were also told full video footage could not be retrieved, while the images provided did not clearly support the conclusion of “pre-existing damage.” Concerns about the wash operating unusually rough were not addressed. We attempted to resolve this directly and without escalation, including offering to settle the repair cost of $425.17. No meaningful response followed. Other customer reviews report similar damage claims at this location. Combined with this experience, it raises concerns about both the equipment and how issues are handled. This is not a customer-focused operation. Choose another car wash.

  Vacuums never work in my car still has dirt and grim on it after it's been washed and immediately gets hard water spots. I only go there if I absolutely just need to rinse the car off knowing I'm going to have to have paper towels and Windex ready.

  Greetings. I’m writing because for the second time now I’ve been denied access due to unforeseen and unexpected closures. I don’t live entirely close by, so it would be nice to know beforehand that the location is closed during normal business hours. It would definitely save myself time and money. Sure I could drive to the next open car wash, but that would defeat the purpose of having a paid subscription at Tommy’s.

  We took our truck to get washed after driving on wet snow and dirt. It was very dirty. We chose the $15 express wash. The truck came out 90% clean. There was dirt still stuck on the front grill and the tailgate. They need someone there to scrub these areas manually before driving thru the wash.
