    I have never left a one star review in my life. I went in for a specific part and was not helped even though 2 employees were talking at the desk. After bringing in a part I needed to replace for my truck which was specific the type model year engine I was just shown where the parts were at. Then was handed one and even at the counter said my make and model to make sure that it would work. Nothing was put into the computer and just said “if it don’t work just bring it back”. Got home and wife saw it said Marine on the package. Did a quick google search and realized this would have been a terrible mistake. Joe A. was the one who obviously did not care to help as when I went into autozone the first thing they did was type everything in the computer and did not sell me anything as they said it would be best to get the correct part. I had to then drive back to the store waste more time to return the product and same employee could care less and when I told him the effects he just said “yea that wouldn’t be good”. I don’t know if you are not training your employees or just don’t care but as someone who works with customers everyday I couldn’t not leave a review as hopefully the owner cares more and just does better on training or motivation, I don’t know but that was a waste of time and very unnecessary to sell me that when all the technology was at the counter but I guess would have been too inconvenient. Will never go back there which is unfortunate as they seem to have everything you would need but tired of people just going through the motions for a paycheck and ok with other people suffering who you never know what’s going on in their lives. A simple search would have kept this from being typed out as for the time I was spent away from family and my wife not having a vehicle for another day this was worth the time. Just do better, whatever that is I don’t know but you own this company and hope you care as I would never allow a employee to treat an employee with such incompetence it could have caused more damage to someone already pay check to pay check. We are all trying to just make it here. Also was put as a “didn’t need” which oh I needed a part just for a truck not a boat. Good luck and I hope he is trained properly not only in using what the company has invested so heavily in technology wise but customer service as I felt as if I was bothering them. Was the only person in the store just to clear up they may have been busy. Just must have interrupted a good conversation between the 2 behind the counter. This was authorized by: Lonnie E. And sorry Lonnie but you heard me say this would have messed up my vehicle and didn’t seem to try and help with another part and neither did Joe. But don’t worry the other company helped me out not even selling me their product but cared enough to make sure I got the proper part. Good luck and sorry to leave this I really hate it but well deserved unfortunately.

    Michael replaced the battery in my truck today and he was friendly, efficient, and conducted himself very professionally. I can go to any auto parts store, but try to come here when I can because of the excellent customer service I have received on each visit.

    My water pump had blown, I was stuck. Had no idea what i was gonna do. I bought the part, and Adrian came out told me how n what to do.. took me 45 min to get the part off and on. Thanks to Adrian. Awesome customer service. I really appreciate yall.

    Mike saved the day!! Battery was going out. Thankfully Advanced Auto Parts keeps record of when your battery was purchased. Mike was very helpful and knowledgeable. Very Thankful!

    Five stars for Jeremy. He was at the store alone while his team was on lunch and the store was packed, but still remembered and helped me. I had called Advance Auto because I saw on Google that Advance would install the battery for you if you bought one. That sounded good to me so I decided that I would buy a battery from them. When I came in the store almost immediately I was greeted by Jeremy. He told me that Advance did have a free install, but I needed to wait because his team was all out at lunch. As things will have it their lunch went long and Jeremy ran the whole store by himself, while apologizing to me from time to time. So many people came through his line; it's pretty cool that one person can run the entire store! Finally, seeing that it might be some time before his team returned I decided to install it myself. After I got about 1/3 of the way through I see Jeremy on the way, eager to take over. I really appreciated that he had the integrity and work ethic, striving for a job well done. It's like he has an ethos of customer service. It is such a relief to have someone install it for you, especially after you already started, covered in sweat in the hot Texas sun, and are doing it with someone else's tools in a parking lot. It sometimes feels like customer service is dead, but this guy knocked it out of the park. I will be back, and thank you!
