  Went and bought a Toyota TRD Sport on Saturday. Salesman Joshua was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable when we were test driving. We started with testing driving an SR5 earlier in the day and then we went inside. I had mentioned that I wanted to test drive a Ford Ranger before we make a decision. I guess that is when Sales Manager Gracie Judy felt the need to push me to make a deal right then. After pushing me twice to get a deal done she could tell I was getting upset. Let the salesman do his job and quit being pushy. Salesman Joshua was doing a great job and let the product stand on its own. After that experience I told Joshua that he was the only person I wanted to speak to going forward. We left to test drive a Ranger. After talking with the wife we decided to look at the Tacoma more. Well that didn't stop Sales Manager Gracie Judy from having a condescending comment when we went up there to do some paperwork on a TRD Sport (a higher model truck). Nor could she resist from having a condescending comment when we picked up the truck on Monday. Gracie almost costed this deal. Then Finance Director Justin Bateman told me and my wife that her name would be added to the title of the car. However he didn’t do that and only put my name. I wouldn't recommend this dealership and will probably buy my next Toyota somewhere else.

  Love Shottenkirk Toyota. Our salesperson was Ashleigh and she was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to really talk with us, answer our questions, and make sure we understood both the vehicles and the entire buying process. Nothing felt rushed or pressured, and she explained things clearly in a way that actually made sense. Her patience, knowledge, and genuine care made what can be a stressful experience feel easy and enjoyable.   Patrick was very easy to deal with, listened to what my needs and wants for a vehicle were and did not try to push other vehicles on me. He did not waste my time the way a lot of car salesmen do with an icky sales pitch. When I asked for line by line explanations of the proposed settlement statement he answered them without acting annoyed and allowed me to negotiate a good deal. Brittney was wonderful on our test drives, very knowledgeable and patient. After the purchase, she spent extra time with my daughter going over everything about the vehicle with her, connecting her phone, and even helped ease some post car accident anxiety my daughter was having. We will definitely be purchasing our next vehicle from them.

  My worst experience in over 40 years of buying vehicles for me and my family. This dealership ineptly did not disclose severe hail damage on their website, OR on any of the several other online car sites for the used vehicle I wanted to buy. I was then directed to a higher trim level of the same vehicle at a much higher price, but without hail damage. This is a “legal” version of a bait and switch tactic. I almost took the bait, but the ridiculous upselling of “dealer fees” made it too outrageous for me. These people give reputable used car dealers a bad name. Also, do not deal with the associate named “Patrick” , he was by far the rudest car salesman I’ve ever dealt with.

  I am posting this review to document my experience and warn future customers to carefully review all paperwork before purchasing from Shootenkirk Weatherford. I traveled from Dallas to this dealership after finding a specific vehicle listed online at a competitive price. Upon arrival, staff were initially friendly and professional. However, once I expressed intent to purchase, several concerning practices occurred. First, I was presented with an additional non-negotiable $1,795 “VIP package” that was not disclosed in the online listing. I was also given an unfavorable trade-in offer. After extended negotiation, we reached what I believed was a final agreement. During the finance process, I repeatedly declined an extended warranty. Despite this, the paperwork process was rushed and unclear. I was asked to sign documents on an iPad that were zoomed in only on signature fields, without being shown a complete bill of sale or clearly explained loan terms, including APR. The final printed documents were sealed in an envelope and not reviewed with me before I left. After opening the paperwork later, I discovered a $4,995 charge labeled “Ethos Service Package” that had not been disclosed or approved. I immediately contacted the dealership. The finance director later assured me the charge would be removed and stated this was not standard practice. However, several days later, my lender sent loan documents that still included the $4,995 charge, indicating the issue had not been resolved. After speaking with the bank, I was advised to look into my legal options. This review is not intended to be emotional or inflammatory. It is meant to document a clear sequence of events and caution other buyers. Based on my experience, customers should review every line item, request printed documents before signing, and not rely solely on verbal explanations during the finance process. Proceed with caution.
