They never try to oversell you on anything (wipers, filters, etc), and they always have coupons (type “Valvoline coupon” in Yelp). I’ll never bring my cars anywhere else.

I’ve been here multiple times for different services, including an oil change and a state inspection, and every experience has been excellent. The service is always incredibly fast and efficient. They’re thorough without ever trying to upsell unnecessary services, which I really appreciate. Everyone is consistently kind, professional, and treats you with genuine respect and care.

(Lifts your spirits, even when you’re having a tough day!) They do offer you additional services beyond an oil change but I never feel pressured. I left Take 5 that’s closer to my home and cheaper because of the poor service and rotten attitudes of the staff… and the lack of response from mgt. when I complained about a particularly upsetting incident. I also was impressed with the manager on duty at my Valvoline because he treated his colleagues with respect and dignity making sure they had had their breaks, even asking if they needed one. Their mutual respect seemed genuine. You can tell a lot from how companies treat their employees and how employees treat each other. All in all, a very good experience. Congrats to the team at the Kirby location in Houston. Keep up the exceptional service! Carolyn
